Schagerl and his Golf at absolute limit are always a joy to watch.Seriously,this dynamic duo is among GOATs of hillclimb.Unbeliveable driving from Schagerl and what a crazy speed and amazing sound from Golf.Loving those flames and loud backfire.What an angry snarling beast.
Easily won in its class on GHD Lučine 2019 event. To me it was the most spectacular car cause you don't expect a Golf II to go on rails through a set of hairpins.
Seen this in person few times in Buzet hillclimb (Istria, Croatia)...

Fantastisch wie der Schagerl alle Optimierungsmöglichkeiten seines Monsters auslotet und schliesslich dermassen am Limit unterwegs ist. Die Beschleunigung UND die Verzögerung phänomenal. Wie er ins Ziel räubert ist eine wahre Freude. Yes, holy shit!

That thing is quick.. After corner 2 I was sort of bracing myself for it to swap ends. But looks like he got some heat in the tires, put some faith in the aero and pedaled on.. :)
