  • Heavy machinery tears down the Sears section of the Fox Valley Mall. Originally opened in 1975, the Sears store closed on September 2, 2018 and now in January 2021 it meets its final demise. See what will be built in its place at the end of the video.
Don't miss the mishap when Linda did her Happy Dance and the hilarious deleted scenes.

It is sad what is happening to malls. But it is cool to see buildings torn down. A good demolition is always a thing to behold. Thanks for sharing this.

Very true...it was the first demo I've seen live. The sounds of metal bending and walls crashing in the middle of what looked like a war zone was really cool. Thanks for watching!

I use to go to Sears for everything as a kid, especially their auto care service. We are by Stratford Square Mall and almost all the big stores, including sears are gone. Kohls and Burlington are the only 2 that are remaining. When I go to Vegas next, there's a place where you can ride construction equipment - hopefully I can do one of these giants!!!! Craig always has no fear going in. Can't believe it's going to be condos. One of our anchor became a Woodman's. I miss my malls.

Hey Craig and Linda!! Awww... Sears, that was such a big store in the 80s! That's cool you got to see some of the teardown process. We are thinking that after Covid, most of these stores will be irrelevant. But all those condos that are going to be built. Gotta love what developers plan. Great video and love you guys to the moon! :)

Oh wait. You're Cubs fans. Never mind. 🙃
Seriously, it is so crazy to see things that were part of our everyday lives just get literally and figuratively destroyed. Crazy memories. "Oh, that's where I bought that shirt I wore on my graduation" and things like that. They connect to memory in ways we typically don't think of.

This was a quick fun video to watch! I know this is an odd comment to make -- and I apologizie if it seems rude because that is NOT my intention -- but I chose this video because it was only five minutes. Sometimes -- it is nice just to watch a very short, quick video. I am finding that out with my own RUclips Channel. I have discovered that the shorter videos (at least with our channel) get more views. I can put so much work and time into making a 12 - 15 minute video and it will get very little attention. And then I feel upset with myself for investing some much time and energy into what I think is a great video -- but it atrracts very little attention. Now -- that being said -- I truly did enjoy your video. It is always fun to watch a demolition -- which is something that I don't get a chance to do very often. I liked that you included your DELETED SCENES. That was pretty interesting. Gives me some ideas for some of my future videos, and I appreciate that. I thought it was interesting that Linda was experiencing some problems with her boots, and that she made the funny comment about possibly returning the boots because the two of you were at the mall already. Haha. Great Video!

When Craig edits videos he has not set a time limit. He tries to keep them fast pace and interesting . Sometimes they are 5 minutes sometimes 10.The average persons attention span is only about 8 seconds . Anything we can do or share to help people makes our day.
