Everything was great (despite for the brutal chainsaw cut) Until the oroginal parqetry was taken off and re varnished with an acrylic glossy varnish. I know it is not a restoration video but as a woodworker you should know that you removed the two most beautiful things a victorian box can have, the original varnish and the parquetry. (Also knowing you destroyed the history of that box).
