Welcome to the unboxing and review of The Akashic Tarot.
Do not be fooled by the title, this is NOT a tarot deck. Let me explain. It does not follow the meanings of a Rider-Waite-Smith or Thoth tarot system, however, this deck does have a major arcana and four minor arcana suits.
In this oracle, the creators made their own system. I think this is a great deck and it reads very well, just treat it as an oracle.

Lovely review, thank you! Decided to get this eventually, I think the artwork is what draws me in mostly. I'm not familiar with akashic records concept but it sound interesting to find out more!
Thank you for going deep into this deck. A good guidebook is a must - I just saw this deck & I’m now getting. I’m like you, guidebook is a must! A good guidebook. I always reading the guidebook, even if I know the card - then use my intuition.

I really enjoyed working with this deck, but I don't have it anymore in my collection. I acquired too many decks and got rid of many of them, and kept only the ones I really work with. But from time to time I think about this deck. I'm not against buying it again in the future. I thought it was accurate and easy to understand when I worked with it.
I understand why the court cards are missing, so it doesn’t bother me that the deck is 62 cards. I think the artwork is wonderful and hope to purchase this deck to go with two oracles which I love, Mystic Healing cards by Inna Segal and The Angel Oracle by Ambika Wauters. Both have a very similar colour palette and borders. I also think the Touchstone Tarot by Kate Black would pair nicely. The aesthetics of the artwork could match well. Today i received my deck and really 😢I'm disappointed, low quality cards no glossy no thick paper 😢😢😢💔💔 i was so excited but it made me sad 😢😣💔
oh I'm so sorry to hear. Does your box have a QR code on it? You may have gotten a counterfeit deck instead of the higher-quality deck from the publisher. So many decks are getting copied and sold at a much lower price but also much lower quality.

@@icarotarot hey i checked it yes it has QR code 😁 and your deck and mine is same print is beautiful but I don't like matt finish and paper quality, I have angel power tarot glossy and thik these are my quality perameters.
So the original cards are mate finish or not? I GOT the counterfeit version and mine are glossy, smaller and way thinner than normal tarot/oracle cards!!! From what I see in thia video, the cards are matte, not glossy, which I kinda like 😎
Also, the counterfeit deck does not come with a book! You have to read it online from a PDF... Totally a mess!

Haha it annoys me too! They can call it an Oracle and call it a day, haha. I do like this deck, so I put up with it, lol.

Hello! Thank you for liking the review. I've really enjoyed working with this deck and the readings have been very accurate every time. I still use the book a lot because I don't have all the meanings memorized yet, but that comes naturally with time and use. Overall I enjoy this deck a lot.
