The key is that the Bible is made to treat each other right. You are not reading it for yourself but other people as well. For example, Matthew 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns or figs of thistles? Since people will know me by my fruit, I will also know you by your fruit as well." Another example in Exodus 20:15 "Thou shall not steal." That means I can't steal from you, and you can't steal from me either.
