More hair talk than I've seen from James Welsh in a year. maybe you should add "and sometimes hair" to your intro 😆 (All in good fun. I love James!)

Whenever I see someone rave about Shiseido products I always feel so bumped out because it seems like they really have many good products but I just cannot support that brand anymore after hearing about how they let 20 executives basically sexually harass one of their models. Even after the model (Mizuhara Kiko) has come forward about that issue they still haven't apologized to her or the public. It's seriously disgusting and a huge shame.
Anyway, personally I really love Lador's products. I've been using their shampoo, conditioner and treatment for about 6 months now and my hair has never looked and felt better. They are also cruelty-free which Shiseido's products aren't.

What hair type do you have? And what l’adore products do you use. I too don’t want to support shisedo.

Hi Kelly, I noticed when you shampoo your hair you bring the shampoo to the middle and ends of your hair. You should avoid that bc it drys out and damages the hair. If you just concentrate the shampoo on your scalp once you rinse it will clean the bottom of your hair. This is something I learned a few years ago. It’s made a huge difference on my hair. Love that you did a video on hair care.

So glad to hear you talk about blue shampoo! I dye my hair to a level two, so I use green shampoo to negate reds (anyone above a 3 shouldn't do this), but I'm so happy us darker haired people are finally getting some options!

Hi Lovely Kelly 😘, we are always interested in any of your care ☺️ skin , hair , nails, body ... very helpful video indeed , more like this please 😉. I think for me the 2 biggest changes recently were using a clarifying shampoo - Neutrogena AntiResidue and my Dyson hairdryer 👌🏼 I shall be looking into the hair oil you just recommended too 🙌🏼

Hi my tip for those struggling with dry/frizzy hair is to use a hair mask instead of conditioner every wash. I have long/curly/dry/course textured/highlighted hair and an eczema prone scalp - my hair doesn't get greasy as such. I shampoo once a week and sometimes co wash once in between if I'm going somewhere nice (in lockdown so going nowhere at present). I do clarify once every six to eight weeks with a deep treatment left on for at least half an hour, but many masks only need to be left on for 3 to 5 mins and those are the ones I use in my normal routine. I also apply a load of leave in conditioner every wash, prior to any styling products. Oils I use as a pre poo or on the ends every day to limit frizz. I also use a scalp treatment to any really dry/itchy patches to moisturise in between washes.
In the Summer I apply ultrasun hair spf to protect from the high UV as part of my routine. I use very little heat as I mostly air dry and I long ago just embraced having curly hair. It takes 10 hours to dry naturally (I have a lot of hair), so I will diffuse partially if I have to. I use a modified cgm for those who may be interested and my hair is mostly 3a curl type. When wet it is about the same length as Kelly's, but obviously springs up when dry. Best wishes.

You are correct. I saw that on another RUclips channel about using hair masks instead of conditioners. When I started using only hair masks my hair transformed from always dry to smooth and supple.

I started using the Lador ampoule when you mentioned it in your last hair care video and I haven’t looked back. I think it’s comparable to Olaplex #3, but the Lador is a little more effective for me, plus it’s more affordable. I get mine on Amazon and they have several options. Initially I got a pack of 4 ampoules to try it out. Now I just buy the big bottle and measure it out myself. Love that stuff!!

Look forward to more hair and scalp care videos like this! Have you tried Shiseido Tsubaki dry shampoo before? As it is a gel form rather than powder, would it be suitable for oily acne-prone people with oily scalp since powder may be more pore-clogging on the scalp? However the product does contain alcohol as the 2nd ingredient, would that be bad for scalp health?

Hey Kelly! Love the video for hair care! Could you please make a video about your teeth? Whitening and straightening or aligning products and results? Even if it is basic? I think I remember you stating in a video that you used invisilign. No disrespect or negativity. Just want your trusted opinion for products, brands and opinions of what worked for you. Lots of love ❤❤

Oh yes! Shiseido has a sister brand of camellia-based hair products, and Tsubaki is the one you should look out for. It's *famous* here in Southeast Asia since getting one is cheap. (It's not as cheap as our drugstore ones but their products are worth the extra expense.) I am not sure about other countries, though.

The Shiseido conditioner works so well as a leave in as well! Makes the hair so soft and free of frizz and static, and smells great too! If you pick it up, it can be used as more than just a regular conditioner!

Kelly, I love Lador products too, but the hair ampoule has alcohol as first ingredient. What do you think? Is it just to make the formula mixing with water and staff or whats the reason? Because its not drying and my scalp did not react on it either🤷‍♀️ so what do you think about alcohol here? I really like your opinions you see things very well. Please let me know your opinion on this one.🙏😚

My secret to healthy hair is stop using heat tools and use hair products without sulfates and silicones which extremely drying out hairs. Also every once in the while olaplex 3 treatment and homemade rice water rinse. Also castrol oil massaging intro hair roots and argan/jojoba in hair ends.

Can anyone comment on what the Lador ampules smell like? Just curious because a lot of haircare products I've purchased from Yesstyle are strongly fragranced in a way that I don't find enjoyable.

my hair is bleached and damaged, so I'm drenching my hair in olaplex, redken anti snap and extreme, and wellaplex masks, my routine is so long (and expensive) to just get it to look normal due to the all the colouring damage.

Recently, I've been trying to get through my bottle of shampoo so I can try a shampoo bar, trying to be more environmentally conscious of the amount of products I'm using and the waste they produce.

I like bar shampoos, especially for travel. It's good to reduce where you can, I personally do not use paper napkins or paper towels anywhere in my house, a surprisingly easy switch.
