Hinata Shouyou became obsessed with volleyball when he saw the "Little Giant" play on television. Following his idol's footsteps, he enrolled in Karasuno High School, with a team that hadn't been on the national stage since the retirement of their old coach.
There, Hinata met again the genius setter he played once during junior high, and the duo pushed each other to new heights.
The anime is based on a manga series of the same name. Four seasons have been aired, and one final movie has been announced to wrap up the story (but with no air date set).
