Props to the guys in your group. Some can get very testy lol. You're still trying to scoop the ball and not strike down and through the ball. When you scoop your clubface hits the ground before the ball and opens up. That's why you keep shanking your shots to the right. When you don't hit the ground first you'll skull it. Every now and then you'll get lucky and hit one kind of square but because you're scooping it'll only go like 60-70% of what the club was designed to do. The face is designed to pop the ball up. You don't have to do it. Strike down. Hope this helps.
