Amazing cards Orlando. You know what I think about grading all these is now you turned cardboard into cash. Not that your selling these but one day you or someone else will and this will make it very easy to exchange these for cash. I only say this because of the not so nice comment I read below. I just delete those comments and block them. I cant understand for the life of me why someone would spend the time to write a comment on anyones video about there collection and say something negative 😤🤨🥲. Let them troll someone else. Now you got to display those amazing cards ❤️🤙🏻🤙🏻
Dylan you’re exactly right. I’m retired, getting older and now my family will know the values.
Awesome cards
Great collection!!!
Glad you like them! Thanks again for your support James. So glad you enjoyed my collection and videos
Just found your channel and subscribed. Love watching vintage reveals.
Thanks for subbing! Truly appreciate your support Jim.
You got some really great cards. The 1971 black boarders stood out.
Thanks for your support Bill, these cards have been in my collection for over 30 years
Absolutely incredible cards and video awesome ..would of liked to see more ryan cards graded
Thanks for watching! So glad you enjoyed it Alex. Check out my other SGC reveal videos. Thanks for your comments
Very nice, I send my vintage to SGC only. I think the price gap is pretty small now with PSA and the holders look way better. Most of us who submit vintage, do it because we grew up with it and display it, not try to quick flip them. My kids will have a nice display or emergency cash someday when I am gone :).
Thanks Jason, I’m going to continue grading my vintage with SGC. They are pretty strict but fair. The tuxedo slabs look great also. Truly appreciate your support and kind comments.
My favorite player is Brooksie also. Nice cards, I was collecting a lot from 1968 -75. Frank is quite great also. Go Orioles.
Mine too! I’m a huge fan of brooks, my favorite player and he’s super nice.
Amazing to keep them so clean, I collected same time period, have them in sets as well, but yours are in better condition. We didnt think about condition back then. Amazing you did!!!
Thanks James, great comment glad to see you collected these also.
The manufacturers didn’t worry about lines, corners, etc. At least kids could afford them though. The cards that were also games were especially cool.
You did a great job of preserving those cards over all these years! That McCovey is super cool!
Thanks Tom, appreciate your kind comments. I purchased the set over 20 years ago from the original owner that pulled them from packs. I put them in a binder originally then to a box with penny sleeves. Been in the closet for years. Check out my other videos
Beautiful cards man. Love the old leader cards. When Topps gave you the extended list.
Thanks again for for watching and your kind comments. I also love the leader cards and should probably grade more now that grading prices are down. Check out my other reveal videos
Wow man what a beautiful set of cards you have there. Those look much better than the grades you got. But they are more strict on grading then the others.
Thanks Jay for commenting on my SGC reveal. Theses cards were extremely sharp but they graded the cards very harshly in my opinion. Happy New Year my friend

I live in Astoria New York and finding a personal card dealer who I can always buy sports cards from dosent really exist anymore. About 25 years ago, there were quite a few around
Thanks so much for your response. It’s tough to find a good card shop, I’ve visited all the shops in my area. Check out my videos. Appreciate your support and Merry Christmas to you and your family
I love the cards and the video!!!!
Thanks again for watching my videos. Much appreciated. Check out my other reveal videos!
Great job. You have some awesome vintage cards, I really enjoyed your video it’s takes me back to my childhood collecting cards. I just got back into the hobby and the vintage cards are so much nicer then the new cards.
Thanks again for watching my videos Todd, I just started grading some of my stuff this year. Check out my first SGC reveal videos. Thanks for subscribing
Awesome cards Orlando! Enjoy your videos and stories. Those 71s look great in the Tux! All nice looking cards for sure.
Thanks Mark, love the 71’s will show my entire set in future videos
Awesome reveal. Really fun to see so many well-preserved 71's.
Thanks JP I will be showing my 71’ set in future videos thanks again for watching my videos
great cards.
Much appreciated, thanks so much for your support
Sad to see the negative comment. Don't typically see them on these channels. No ones business why someone would grade a particular card. That being said, I have never graded a card from my collection, but I love watching new vintage submission reveals to guage my cards. SGC seems to be the most consistent, yet some reveals are fairly harsh... like they're trying to prove something? Enjoy the content!!
Thanks Citizen X, I had only graded my Mantles and a few others. But now that I’ve been retired, Wanted to get some more graded for when I pass. Probably will be in my personal collection for ever.
Agree 100%. I've been recently posting my vintage cards on my new channel and I'm amazed how many negative comments can surface from viewers. I love seeing people sharing their own unique journey - as each persons journey is special. Cheers
Your channel is awesome! I’m amazed at how you got all these cards and saved most of them from your youth to get graded. You are living the good life my friend.
Thanks David for your kindness. Loved the hobby for many years. Love to look at cards and show you cards.
Loved this reveal, the 8.5 on the 1970 batting leaders is sooooo impressive. SGC is as tough as it gets!
Thanks TBC, SGC is the toughest in grading vintage in my opinion. Thanks again for your kind comments.
Beautiful cards,Orlando! You deserve a 10 on all of them for keeping them in such fine shape. You've preserved history. I didn't get many high numbers in '72. I would like to get the Carew some day. Great videos, man! Stay well!
George
Thanks George, awesome comments. Will show the 72’ set in future videos.
Another terrific video - well done!
Thanks DJ your comments always appreciated
Sweet cards
Thanks so much
@@ACollectorsDream you're welcome
You sir, have an awesome collection!!! New subscriber, been getting caught up on your channel. Love it, keep on collecting sir!!
Thanks Houston for subscribing, and your nice comments. More videos coming
I look forward to your new videos. You made my Saturday. I think SGC reduces more for centering issues than any other company. I really .felt like you had many cards that wer.e undergraded which is really a shame. If I were you I would consider getting a second opinion on some of those. Thank you for sharing more of your truly special collection and more of your knowledge. I truly appreciate you doing all this work to share your cards and knowledge. Thank you.
Thanks Frank, your comments are spot on. Appreciate your kindness and for watching my videos.
Agree with you about Dick Allen. I expect him to make it to the HOF. Personally, I prefer Brooks 1972 Topps Game 2 World Series #224 to his #300. The #224 is just a great action shot. Can’twait to see your next video.
Thanks harry, Dick Allen is very underrated you’re right the brooks World Series cards are nice
I shudder to think about how many of those cards from the 70’s ended up between the spokes of my bike
Thanks B, I remember having tons of cards many were beat up bad. Literally played with them. Shuffled them and threw them.
Great Cards !!!!!!!! Liked & Sub !!!
Thanks again for watching and subscribing Double barrel, your comments are much appreciated.
Damn shame the exact same card sent in several times can get a Grade of 4,5,6,7 or 8 by different grading companies, card grading has ruined the hobby.
Agree Ozman, sometimes it depends on the grader you get. And hope they are having a good day. Thanks again for watching my videos and commenting
