  • Germany is aiming to become greenhouse gas neutral by 2045. The new short film by PtX Lab Lausitz shows how sustainable fuels contribute to achieving the climate targets and presents innovative power-to-liquid technologies.
The PtX Lab Lausitz in the city of Cottbus/Germany plays an important role on the road to greenhouse gas neutrality. The think and do tank has set itself the task of promoting the environmentally friendly and sustainable production and utilisation of Power-to-X (PtX) products. PtX refers to technologies that convert green electricity into chemical energy sources such as electricity-based fuels for mobility and industry.
One focus of the PtX Lab is on the development of synthetic fuels (power-to-liquid, or PtL for short) for aircraft and ships. These fuels are based on renewable energies and green hydrogen and take sustainability targets into account.
