Iyer ji...facts are different. Videos show a foreign student physically assault an Indian when requested to halt their activities. The so called attack on foreign students happened after this assault by the foreign student. So please do not address the issue the way you did as it sends out a wrong message by showing Indians as aggressors while it was the other way round.

There's a lot of guilt in the USA currently, for precisely the reasons you name. The preachiness is counterproductive.
Not just that. If you look back all of its past usa had been doing the same. President Trump was the only exception but they rigged his elections to get him thrown out.
Namaz at public places in some gulf countries is not permitted. In any such incidents police comes and arrests the violation of this law.

One Afghani fellow stood up from behind and started slapping one of students raising objection.
Later on outsiders joined for violent retaliation in favour of local students.

Why non hindu foreign students are interested to come to Gujrat univetsity for study ? Is there some international agenda which might be detrimental to the interest of our country ?
It is double benefit to both sides. Most of the students are from countries where there is not much university education and for university it is good income, given the lack of funds from the government.
In the Gujarat University incident, the foreign students physically assaulted the local students first......there's a video clearly showing that.
Why is that part not shown by any media including PGURUS???

The hindus DID NOT " ATTACK THE FOREIGN MUSLIMS WHILE THE LATTER WERE PERFORMING NAMAZ".The hindu students told them to do namaaz in a.masjid .An Afghan student then came and slapped the hindus.Hindus were arrested and muslims NOT TOUCHED.If these foreign muslims,were overstaying in the hostel and the country ,it makes them doubly guilty and they should be penalized,not let away.Hindus were arrested and paraded in hoods.This partiality is unacceptable.

Shree Ji while I appreciate your optimism wish that your hopes be realized but I am very skeptical. BTW, I am aspiring politician and work with YSRCP and in active social work. I work with women and minority affairs wing of the party. So I get to meet momins, walk in their streets and observe and interact in close quarters. There are a few points to be noted.
One, they live parallel lives, quite unaffected by the events, news outside their "quarters". As an example no one knew about Aditya L1 mission and that the project director is Nigar Shaji, a muslim. Another example is one elderly person thought Chandrayan-3 to be haram because moon is considered sacred and ISRO's mission desecrated it.
Two, even if they receive secular education in schools, they also receive a "parallel" religious education as an antidote to school education. The elderly in their mohalla's keep a "watch" on children, their behavior and what they do. Children grow up in a very different country that you and I live in.
Three, educated and successful people leave or "abandon" their families. I have noticed this very often. If there is someone who is very well educated and is successful, they abandon the mohallas permanently. I infer this as they don't want to come back to their "old life". This means the lessons of success are not given back to the society.

Here, I want to make a point. Those muslims who are wise or highly educated or highly employed - should not abandon their masses. They should openly condemn non secular , communal , hatred filled and violent preachings and behaviour in their communities , in their books and preached by their religious people and political leaders who are encashing this ignorance of the masses

There is a purpose of having a mosque. It should be used for good spiritual purposes to enhance human beings. Similar to other religions. I am concerned that in future mosques are not needed anymore since Namaz can be done anywhere. In many Muslim dominated countries, mosques are well used for their spiritual practices. I am quite surprised with the contrast. 😮

Though some reformation in Islamic Society of Saudi and UAE is visibly taking place, it is very minute. the majority of Muslims in various third world countries including India have been highly radicalized by the so called leaders of Islam. The vast majority of Muslims do not see eye to eye with other religions and always harm other fellow beings physically and mentally at the earliest opportunity available. The migration to EU and USA, India and other accommodating parts of the globe and fomenting trouble over is there for all to see. The medieval mindset of these people is obnoxious and pose extreme danger to the lives of other fellow beings. One is forced to guard against such evil forces eternally. The turmoil in West Asia is another glaring example.

Sree ji, I have commented earlier few times on this channel, that the percentage of muslim girls students studying in muslim funded/ managed education institutions is very less than ten percent. But what is alarming is that Hindu girls studying there are huge in numbers. This easily lays the ground for the Kerala story type of environment. Will our fellow Hindu parents ever wake up?? Biriyani outlets serving run by muslims in the late night are hardly patronised by thier own community. Eaters are mostly Hindus and few xtians. As a kid my dad used to advise me and my elder brother not to drink tea from any IRANI TEA STALL, as it was said to be laced with some kind of drug.( Apheem) was the terminology used.This was in the 70s in Chennai. During this period there were numerous Irani tea stalls mostly in commercial and college areas. But after the mid 80s these tea stalls just disappeared.

Namaaz in public is not okay. You can pray at home or masjid. Its not mandatory to pray at specific time oy. There is flexibility in islam that you can wait and pray at an appropriate place and time. This is not islamic nation. Law of the land matters.
