I've had mine for a while and I can say they DO NOT shed like crazy at all. For the girls saying that their extensions shed a lot, maybe you're not taking care of them good enough. They're human hair, so obviously if you are rough w them/wash them often they will get tangled & messy and that's what causes shedding. Other than that, you could have received a bad batch. I've been a Bellami customer for a year and seriously have no complaints. My hair gets complimented all the time.

Has any noticed how Jaclyn NOT even once tried to "defend" this company?! Not one comment, not a word! Wow. That goes to show how easy any one can sell out their followers! All these bad comments and she hasn't replied on any one's comment. I had never bought bellami hair, and when i watched this video i was going to order mine rite away, cuz i believed and trusted her. But thank you to all the honest people the very few that still exist, for saving me some money on hair that idk if i was going to like.
I am using LAYURI hair extensions and it’s amazing that these hair extensions made me contented as this is my first to buy hair extensions. And Layuri never let me think to switch to other brands.

Just a tip for girls with really THICK hair!!
I had really long hair and recently got it cut and really regretted it. So I got these extensions due to all the amazing reviews. Although they are thicker than most extensions, IT WILL NOT LOOK NATURAL IF YOU HAVE THICK HAIR. I've tried blending any way possible but keep in mind for girls with my type hair (strait and thick), 90% of the time it will not look natural. Just be patient and grow your hair out if you want your long hair back :) hope this saved someone money.
I have super thick hair & a ton of it, & extensions just look ridiculous on me haha. I've tried a few different brands, too. Growing it out really is the best way to have long hair for people with hair like ours. I completely agree with you :) I'm not bashing people with extensions, or extension companies in any way! I like extensions, they just don't work well with my hair type.
It can actually look great with thick hair if you use less wefts and get them properly shaped to your existing style :) xx
i have reaally thick hair and i used the 220g set it wasnt even enough i would need at least half of another set for it to look blended -_- so i used them for the most part and added hair from another set of extentions i already had
bought this hair and was super excited as well as nervous becaus I saved to get this as I am a college student. I quickly realized that I made a mistake and should have done better research. I bought the lilly 260g ash blonde, and the color matched but after a few heat applications and a few washes the hair was so tangled! And the beautifully soft shine and slickness had disappeared entirely. I use extremely high quality styling tools for the best protection of the hair including the HMI ceramic, tourmaline, ionic flat iron and the Elchim 3900 ionic ceramic healthy hair dryer as well as protective product and high quality shampoo and conditioner, therefore I am not mistreating the hair, I took care of it well, and bellami advertises that their hair will stand up to styling, and I use the most responsible styling techniques to keep the hair nice and this hair just sucks, it DID NOT stand up to styling like they say it will. I couldn't believe it! Also, it sheds like crazyyy! I have lost over half of the hair. That's 150 dollars down the drain! Additionally, besides realizing that the quality of hair is not what it is advertised to be, I felt like bellami is dishonest. If you haven't noticed finding honest customer reviews on their website is not easy. Also, RUclips reviews are all by people that were either given hair by bellami or bellami gave them discounts/hair after they wrote a good review. I thought I had done good research but apparently not because bellami makes it hard. First of all, they do not allow for enough space to write an honest review. Additionally, for such a large well known company, it is very strange that there is a grand total of 20 reviews on their website for the hair I bought and only two of them say the hair is so-so. I wrote a scathing review there and I wouldn't be surprised if its gone in a few days. On other sites other than bellami, like this one, only 25% of the people would buy their hair again but on their website it has 4.9 stars...tell me that's not fishy! I honestly bought this hair excited and ready to go with my own money and I am heart broken that it is not what I thought it is and that I gave my money to a company that I think is dishonest. I have no other motivation to write this review other than the fact that I am dissapointed and I understand the excitement of getting this hair and I don't want anyone else to have to spend the money and experience the dissapointment which I did. DO NOT BUY THIS HAIR. When I bought this hair I saw some bad reviews and ignored them because I thought the people were just haters and I trusted reviews which I now truly believe bellami filters or pays for. The quality of hair is not worth the money, it sheds like crazy, does not stand up to normal styling and care procedure, gets tangles and begins to look trashy, and the company does not look out for their customers and is dishonest, they just are looking for money. Please look out for yourself and don't experience my disappointed.
Sierra Hall Hey doll... I had the exact same problem but i seriously tried a new brand called ZALA and was so stoked with the outcome after 7 months... seriously worth a shot.. They stay so soft and shiny for months on end regardless of what you do with them. They dont shed at all which was my biggest fear, they dont thin out and they stay so super thick. Their team is also fantastic. So helpful asks any questions and so nice as well. Very happy i found them.

Just a heads up on the promo code from Bellami hair tool 6 N 1. If you use the PROMO CODE YOU VOID ALL YOUR WARRANTY!!! I've had my curler for 5 mo and only used it 5 times then the base quit working. They said they would send me another for ANOTHER 60+ dollars. So everyone PLEASE read the warranty disclaimer. When asked if mine were returned by someone and USED she said they go through tests by our team. So I said "so are they returns or refurbished"? The operator "I can't confirm nor deny that". SERIOUSLY? Makes me sick to my stomach knowing I spent that much and its useless to me now ;'(

My bellamis came today. Everyone says they suck. THEY DONT. The company did not reach out to me. I paid for them with my own money. They are so so so amazing and i love them. They arent even shedding. And i did wash mine just to get the package smell off. But it was easy and they didn't tangle or shed at all. Im very happy with this product

bellami hair is probably one of the best hair extensions I've ever owned and i've been wearing fake hair for about 2 years now. they give you so much hair and it's super soft and lasts around 8-10 months if you're wearing them everyday and styling them everyday (which i don't recommend if you want to use them longer) but still great quality and price.
I have tried about a million different brands of hair extensions within the past 5 years and i agree, bellami has the BEST hair extensions
***** Im curious as to why so many people have hot/cold reviews? Some people, even non beauty gurus, love them and say they're the best and others have these horror stories, it makes the brand hard to be credible at all.

I think the idea is that we want to know what brand of hair dye he uses on you and what the color code is. If we don't live where you live, we could still see a colorist @ a salon that uses the same color. Could you give us that or give us his info so we can ask him what products he uses. It would be super helpful & really appreciated- its very pretty!
And if we bought the hair then dyed it two shades darker- that could be darker with a red tone, or golden, or idk. plus if we don't use the same product as you it won't be the same color result
Either way. Just head over to a hair salon and ask to look at the color swatches. With watching her vids you'd be able to remember what her hair color looks like and match it up. Or google her in images, print a pic of her, and take it to the salon with you. OR, if you use internet on your, phone, or have a tablet or ipad take it to the salon with you. Show the stylist a vid, pause it, and let them take a look ;). There are other ways to do it ;)
in professional color it doesnt really matter because ur stylist should be able to combine any of their color line to the hair color u desire based on what the current hair color is to where u want it to be... they have "codes" like 6R, 5RV, and so on

Bellami is a horrible horrible brand. I love your videos and I really do hope that your not another Bellami sell out, and is willing to lie to her fans for the sake of some company that clearly sucks. I mean this with no offense or disrespect but this review is not honest.
Arezou H I personally had a horrible experience with Bellami Extensions. Mine clumped, were waxy after washing them. Tangles all the time. I personally do not think they are worth it. I exchanged them, and then returned them.
They are not worth the money.. here is why.. they are not good, they shed, matte, tangle, they are greasy, my wefts have no hair left, the clips pretty much fell off and some just wont snap, they dont even move they are defective... i had them for 3 months.. and I didnt wear them that much, i took super good care of them.I spent my money because i heard amazing reviews from tons of gurus.. but it seems as if only the gurus or people making videos are sent good sets.. and most of the other customers are not. I ordered from Bombay hair a few days ago, i hope they are worth it. Just please do not waste your money on these, hey they were amazing for the 1st month, shiny, long, (still alot of shedding) but i was told that would stop.. they blended nice, i loved them and recommended them to everyone, but after a while they just went completely terrible, now i feel bad for recommending it because they do not last very long. If you are looking for hair to last only 2 months, then go spend 200 on bellami, if you want long lasting ones that you don't need to replace 5 times a year then i suggest you do more research.. Even that can be tough though because I never had seen a bad review until after i bought them! good luck anyhow

Hello Jaclyn, and everybody else reading this. I have read good and bad reviews about Bellami hair extentions and I just need an opinion about them. Preferabley someone who has tried a variety of brands including Bellami. Im so interested in them but I dont want to commit just yet. I have never bought or even tried on any hair extentions in my life. I have medium lengths hair but its so fine, it drives me crazy. I want to invest in Bellami, but I also need to know if its a good idea. Jaclyn, or sonebody... HELPPPP! ;)
This is extremely late but I hope it's still helpful. I've tried about 7 different brands of hair extensions, recently being the Luxy hair extensions, I hated those. But I can genuinely say that I love my bellamis, I've had my bellissimas for over 7 months, jet black, and they are still in amazing condition. I went back to those after using layuri hair and luxy hair. I wear them every day, wash them once every 8 weeks. Yes, they shed, but it's not bad, few stands here and there but what extensions don't shed. I really think they're worth it. I just purchased the Magnifica set and I'm excited for those to come in. Hope this helped. Again, I know this is super late but I hope it can still be helpful.
I literally have been looking up reviews and hair extensions brand videos ever since I typed that comment. Bellami's look so beautiful and silky smooth. For some reason tho I have decided on getting some Bellami's because of this comment. Your comment really helped me make up my mind because when I was reading it, it just felt like a true 100% honest opinion on them. I was checking out Luxy hair but Bellami just kept winning in my mind. I think I have done enough searching and watching and I am ready. Your comment was truly helpful. Everyone who was putting down Bellami kept saying they shed and they made it seem like they shed like crazy and get junky after a couple months. Its good to read a truthful opinion, and comment. Thanks so much. I've heard so many great great amazing reviews on Bellami's and I'm going with them. I really appreciate it because they're a little pricey and I don't want to just go with any brand, ya know? I'm going to have to comment back in a few months probably to thank you for the recommendation/opinion again because I have a feeling I'm going to absolutely love them, and I know they're going to hold up good. :D :D :D
I'm so glad that my experience was helpful! Trust me, you won't regret it. I truly believe wholeheartedly in this brand. I don't need to tease my roots for the clips to stay in and I have thin/normal hair. My hair is extremely wavy and my jet black extensions blend like a dream! I'm so so happy that you will soon have this amazing hair for yourself to try. I swear you'll love it. It's amazing. One thing is, you have to use a good brush. I use my tangle teezer and it leaves the hair smooth and frizz free. I highly recommend the tangle teezer to brush them out since I get little to no shedding with it. Just be gentle and take care of the extensions and you're good to go. Happy hair journey!!!!!! :)

Mariah Nicole hey doll, i've tried quite a few brands over my years and i would have to say bellami isn't that fantastic as it looks. In my honest opinion i would go with ZALA hair extensions as their hair is 100% real remy hair that lasts for a long time. Also its such amazing quality hair that is very thick and soft helping you create volume. Their customer service team is great too in helping you out.
DO NOT BUY THESE EXTENSIONS!!! Save your time & money!!! Yes they are thick & beautiful the moment you get them but after a while, they shred so much & it's not even 100% human hair because I went to my hair dresser so she could dye them and they did not dye, they looked disgusting and she said it was because they had synthetic hair in them, just warning the people who are thinking of buying these extensions
You are SO right! They shed so horribly and their customer service sucks! Really regret buying them. I've tried many brands (bellami's, luxy's, foxy locks etc.) and the best so far are the ones from luxuryforprincess.com. They are so thick and don't shed at all! If you guys are interested, they currently have the discountcode "imane" to use at checkout on any set.
Your hairdresser couldn't dye them because they have a special sealer on them. You have to process them twice to get through the sealer. (That's why they're so shiny.)

Not only are they paid to review them, but they get much higher quality extensions than the brand actually sells. That's how it works with VP Fashion, Donalove, Ali express, etc.
Your hairstylist is lying when he says there is "no real formula to give to anybody" for the color. Every stylist has a chart for every client that indicates what he last used for that client. If he didnt he would NEVER be able to match the colour every time for that particular client. It just sounds like he does not want of people to know the exact colour formula.

Sea Cones yes they do have a card with the clients formula on it. However that same formula will not work on everyone, which is what she said. You would need to tweak the formula depending on what color the client has before trying to get this color.

I got the ash brown but they looked mostly Orange.. anyways I was like eh. when I tried putting them on the wont clip to my hair the unclip because the clip sucks. and then I thought ...maybe its just my hair... but my girlfriend wanted to buy some and im like
heeelll no... try mine out...she did...she was like wtf they are shit. and she has thin hair so the clips are just cheap .. I was soo upset with them because they are so expensive for the quality . ive own 60 dollar extensions with way better quality than those. . when I contacted them by email theu never replied so I commented on their instagram page ...asking if maybe mine were defective because they shed and the clip wont work. and I was shocked....they BLOCKED ME. .. I really hope they dont rip off anyone else...dont buy you will regret .

Love you Jaclyn, love your channel, trust you opinions. However, I am so afraid to purchase these hair extensions. I wanted to buy some before they blew up on youtube but I wanted to wait and see if people would post reviews. Sure enough they did, however, I've heard so many things about there company. I love how thick they look but I heard that they shed more than usual and that some customers receive them with strings of hair that do not match their original order. I would love to pay a pretty penny for these extensions but honestly Im super afraid im going to be ripped off and waste my money. Although I am not famous on youtube Im sure I speak for everyone when I say how nervous I am to spend $209 on a company that has receieved so many complaints and so many praises for their hair. Honestly I dont know what to do. :(
I went to my local Sally store and got a pack of extensions in a red box (sorry I forgot the name) for about $120 and they are great!! They curl, straighten, and don't shed like crazy! They only shedded (not sure if that's a word, lol) for the first day, but I guess that's because they were just getting out of the box and all. But I've worn them numerous times and they are fantastic!! And since you can buy them at a Sally store, you can make sure that you're getting the right color! Try those out for first time extensions :)
Anddd I'm wearing them in a couple of my videos so you can see how they look! I have super thin hair so I only wear 4 wefts, 2 on the lower back and 1 small one on each side. But it comes with 7 pieces so it's great for the price and you can build it up!
***** Sorry, I've tried Sally's and they suck and there not even 100% human remy hair. If you ask an honest clerk or at least one who has professional knowledge on hair extensions theyll tell you there extensions are mixed with synthetic hair. I will never buy them ever! However, if they look nice on you and if theyve improved their hair qualitiy thats great.

Courtney King I do like them. They are flowy, they comb out easily, they are simple to apply, and they curl beautifully with a styling wand. BUT, I am super (usually?) careful with them. I immediately dyed them, washed them (using WEN), and applied Moroccanoil ...Just like I do with my hair. They were still soft afterward - Not stiff or tangly. I haven't had to use hairspray. I've worn them 3x and only washed them on that very 1st day. I comb them as little as possible.

Courtney King You're Welcome! Although, I may have a different story after today. I set them out to wear today, and what does my husband do? He picks up the whole hanger of extensions, puts them on his head, and starts headbanging with them!!!!! I tried to smile, and kept thinking, "Someday I'll laugh at this, someday I'll laugh at this, someday I'll laugh at this". At some point my brain left my body so that I wouldn't feel the horror...I think I may have even smiled, I'm not sure.
SOOO, If the extensions survive the day THAT will be a true testament to their quality, LOL! Uuuuuuggggghhhhhh....

Hey ***** can you please try your best to explain to us why about 90 percent of Bellami's customers are getting ripped off by horrible hair and the other 10 (you tubers) are getting "amazing" hair? I don't want you to think I'm being rude, but I really want to understand because you said once in your video's that you hate it when we buy something from your recommendation and we end up disliking it. At the time it wasn't a lot of ppl disliking the previous product, but with this "bellmai" company so many have been disappointed including me. You said you weren't getting paid by them, then you should have no problem sorting this mess out and speaking clearly about the mess. If you truly believe bellmai is great then make an update review. I can understand that Bellmai order's hair from luxury for princess and sends that to the beauty guru's and then sends their real crap to the regular customers, believe me I CAN. Either way, I'd like an update review so I can see the hair again for my own eyes. Many ppl say your embarrassed to even talk about this company now. This isn't your fault, I understand that perfectly its Bellami's fault. I'm sorry that all of this is happening, and i wish Bellmai was a fantastic company like they say they are, I truly do, cause I'd have great hair and no pubic hair for extensions.

I just bought the bellamihair extensions and I got fantastic hair. Also with Kylie Jenner just putting her name on them you can't honestly believe she is going to risk her name as it is her branding on a product that isn't any good because that would affect her image and her name and if the Kardashians are anything its defiantly business smart. I got fabulous extensions and took them to my hairdressers and she was amazed at the quality aswell.
DONT GET THESE!!! They are horrible extensions!! I bought the 220g and they shed LIKE CRAZY! They were so awesome when I got them but after I put my fingers through them they shed so so much! I styled them & they smelled like burning hair all the time! The ends began to turn black and they had like stings in between the hair. The clips began to fall off within a month & they would matte alot it was like having a bird nest in your hair! I am not trying to bash them but for girls like me who actually PAY for their extensions, quality matters & these were HORRIBLE!

I had so much respect for her, because I really took her videos to heart, and she went on here talking about, how she wouldn't make a view on something she didn't believe in, and I'm really disappointed. She obviously lied, and she is not responding because Bellami will sue her.
She should stick to make-up tutorials and how to style with extensions, not promote the product if you can't back it up. I was going to purchase them as well, but I won't now.
Do you realize how many comments she must get a day? On a million forms of social media. I don't think it should come as a big surprise that she isn't responding to comments on a video from 2013
