    The God of Sitar. Indeed. No words to explain, only tears from one's eyes would be enough to describe this Man.

    Thanks Syedji .In my opinion it has happened as the reverse side of The printing plate was printed showing right as left and vice versa.
    Deepak Desai has been playing the sitar for last 40 years and he is a great fan of Nikhilda.

    What a devine musician, truly connected to higher self. Should be followed by all music students.
    In one of the visual he seen playing with a right hand. This is a wrong visual, put up by somebody who is not familiar with sitar. I have seen the same photoghraph on one of the CDs published by T-series. Absolutely ridiculous.

    @Static KK: hi! I don't think as you, they've very unique styles and both are giants of our time. The difference is that Ravi brought his music to western countries, helped western people to understand it. Obviously this worked a lot like a "self promotion", so Ravi is worldwide known. I love both. Their music made me start playing the sitar :) Ps: apologies for my poor english...bye!

    • @thskendjeo134
      @thskendjeo134 Год назад

      @@statickk14 that doesn't qualify you for anything! And you are comparing apples with oranges! It is your value system if you believe that a sadhak is better than a Ustad whatever those words mean to you. I know their meanings but When it comes to melodious aspects of music, RS and UVK were marginally ahead of NB which he seems to accept in this interview as well. But when it comes to devotion and that spritual pursuit NB beats them both. It can be heard clearly, this quality in his music. RS when played for a mature audience God knows from what depths his alaaps originated. It is truly spiritual and unparalleled. But when he was entertaining then the music was very different and for a lighter audience. I myself by the way started my sitar journey under Mita Nag!
