"When you talk, Nature stops speaking. When you stop talking, Nature speaks." --- what amazing lines! Panditji speaks with such calm and humility that after listening to this, you feel at peace. Many thanks for the upload :)
Pandit Shri Nikhil Banerjee sir ko sun na kissi meditation se kam nahi. It can help mind come to a stand still. I always experience it. May his soul rest in peace. Thank You, Mr. Wajid sir for bringing sangeet treasures to us, we all appreciate your noble work.
Panditjis Music was beyond our appreciation and opinions as he never cared throughout his life ! Thankyou mr Syed , this is a treat for all of us who admire nikhil jis music and his thoughts i wish we were born back then to witness this golden era of panditjis sitar, thanks for shwoing the glimpse to us to what he was through interviews let’s hope for more of them in near future !
Thanks Syedji .In my opinion it has happened as the reverse side of The printing plate was printed showing right as left and vice versa. Deepak Desai has been playing the sitar for last 40 years and he is a great fan of Nikhilda.
After a long time waiting ,I ultimately got the exact mission of practicing eastern or western classical music..The realization of Ultimate Truth or Supreme Consciousness. Best Regards from heart for this awakened great soul....

Hello Syed. Thank you for uploading this wonderful interview (I have the sound file for it for many years). See my web page dedicated to Nikhil Banerjee: johnbcosgrave.com/archive/Nikhil_Banerjee.htm
Hi John...this is amazing stuff. Thank you so much. Do you have any other interviews or recordings of Pandit ji or anyone close to him, I really loved the idea of meditation and how he explained the concept of silence?
@@viveksharma8916 Hello Vivek. Thank you for writing to me. I do not have "any other interviews or recordings of Pandit ji or anyone close to him". The only interview I have is the one on this RUclips page, and the only recordings I have are commercial LPs/CDs that are publically available. Best wishes. John
What a devine musician, truly connected to higher self. Should be followed by all music students. In one of the visual he seen playing with a right hand. This is a wrong visual, put up by somebody who is not familiar with sitar. I have seen the same photoghraph on one of the CDs published by T-series. Absolutely ridiculous.
Thanks a lot, Respected Kanta ji. I will check it out. sometime stills are just aiming to take picture. It could be that Nikhilda took picture just in this angle.
Please help us know more about this interview and the music conference mentioned - Ecstasy of Silence. Could you please share any recordings of that ? I am so grateful to you for this piece of information shared with us all. Lots of blessings of divine to you my brother!!!
@Static KK: hi! I don't think as you, they've very unique styles and both are giants of our time. The difference is that Ravi brought his music to western countries, helped western people to understand it. Obviously this worked a lot like a "self promotion", so Ravi is worldwide known. I love both. Their music made me start playing the sitar :) Ps: apologies for my poor english...bye!
@@thskendjeo134 lol, i grew up around Sitar, my dad is a pretty good player and a student of Manilal Nag. I think you are clueless. RS was an Ustad, Nikhil Banerjee was a ‘Sadhak’, he did Sadhna. On a different level

True inspiration comes from the words of this great man and musician. A very precious interview.
The God of Sitar. Indeed. No words to explain, only tears from one's eyes would be enough to describe this Man.
Even his voice is profoundly sublime as are his thoughts!
Very well spoken man
simple and honest words can only be spoken by an honest soul
