Inexperience, peer pressure, distraction, but not stupidity (harsh word when two teenagers died). These kids have families that are hurting and perhaps reading our comments. God bless the families and give them peace and comfort to overcome their loss.
Teenagers think they are invinsible. Parents believe their lies, when they say they are not on their phones or speeding. Condolences to the families & friends of these teenagers.
Agree - I'm not far behind you in age & we did some daft shit without realising the consequences at the time. One lad broke a leg in the bad crash I was in - we were lucky none of us were killed. RIP kids & yes it is sad.
Same here.. I'm 52.. but guilty of speeding & being with ppl that were driving fast. We've all done it at some point.. & gotten very lucky. These kids lost their lives💔
Same here I'm 52 and lucky to be alive on various occasions when I was in my teens and twenties, due to speeding. The stupid things we do when we're still inexperienced 🥴
My heart breaks for these families 💔💔 I was once young & dumb too... Ignorant to the fact that YES DEATH CAN HAPPEN to me. We've all went fast & gotten VERY LUCKY multiple times. Don't be cruel in the comments. They were kids. Yeah they pushed the limit & sadly lost their life for it. But I'm 52 & I've been on motorcycles & in cars in my 20's when the driver was speeding & everyone was laughing. No one was thinking we're going to die. The family may see your comments.. PLEASE remember if it was your family or friends... You would NOT want to see someone talking bad. For all you know this was the 1st time & also the last. Regardless.. they paid the ultimate price for a few seconds/minutes of an adrenaline rush. My only thought is I hope they were smiling & laughing & their death was instant.. No suffering. Sending love & prayers to family & friends 🙏🏼💙
Yes, it's common for teenagers and young adults to think they'll live forever, but this goes well beyond that thinking. Teens are watching these idiots on social media who weave in and out of traffic at high speeds or participate in takeovers where pedestrians are constantly being struck. It's not a matter of believing they're invincible; it's a matter of them thinking that this is going to get their videos a lot of likes and something for them to take pride in. Generations before pushed the limits, but I would say knew there was a threshold that would almost guarantee death if they crossed it. These kids today seem to be completely oblivious to it. I'd say in part it's because they've been sheltered from harsh realities. We grew up watching "Red Asphalt,"
Lmao! Wtf kind of moronic comment is that?! The car caught on fire from crashing into a vehicle, a light pole, and a utility pole at a high rate of speed! Any vehicle, new or old, would have the capability to catch on fire under the same circumstances.
We were all young once. We all thought we were invincible, that something like this would never happen to us. Then it happened to a classmate of mine in our senior year of high school. She was beautiful, nice and popular. When she died 6 weeks before graduation it hit everyone very hard. I feel for the families.
Why were these kids allowed to be out at 5:40 a.m? What happened to parents being parents? Also, isn't there a curfew for people under 18 years old? I had a midnight curfew because I was told that all you can do is get into trouble after that time. At least I had parents that cared.
You don’t know anything about those kids or their parents while you sitting on your pedestal judging. Why do you have some tact? I’m sure the family is going thru enough without reading comments like this from all y’all judgy individuals
They chose to speed and run a red light, so why would anyone offer prayers or say this is sad? We all make choices, and it's too bad parents aren't raising children anymore to understand the words "consequences" or "hell".
Very tragic ,rip to the 2 teens but glad the innocent Scion driver survived. I see people racing down our street and all over Cali on side streets, freeways running red lights like it's nothing doesn't matter day or nigh They dont care if it's rush hour or not. Mostly chargers, challengers, camaros, stangs and bmw's and NO I'm not one of the Camaro drivers racing not even on a track.
this is the consequences of your actions i don't understand what the reason why folks love driving fast reckless i see this type thing every day it's sad
Really makes you think about the legal driving age, so many young people live with a belief they are invincible and time after time they are proven wrong. The human brain is not fully formed until the mid 20's so maybe that should be a factor to protect our youth and the innocent people driving on the roads with them.
see one flip flop/sandal and one boot that looks like it has some remains ( blood) on the ground near it. may have ripped someone apart if they hit that pole at speed.
Speed and stupidity kills.....

I live in this area and I'll be damned if I drive ANYWHERE here between 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM
Momma always said "nothing good happens after midnight"

It is sad. I’m over 60. I was wild and crazy in my youth and lucky to be alive. RIP kids. ♥️

You spoke the same words that I would have. We must have purpose.......I was wild. I'm over 60 too.

I’m 30 but man did I luck out to many times as a teen

As terrible as it is to lose young kids, I'm just glad that the other innocent guy was not injured
Alcohol and drugs suspected. At 5:30 a.m. yikes. Rather relieved the people in the other car they hit are ok.
My condolences to the families and friends ❤ I have teenage kids I can’t imagine what you’re going through 🙏🙏🙏
Once I was walking near the freeway entrance after a crash, about a few steps ahead I found a shoe with blood..
… damn
💔💔😭
Horrible way to die. Hopefully the family and friends can continue to move forward.

Yeah.....Threshold was *RED LIGHT* ALL FUN STOPS!!
DANG! I really dislike these modern cars. There are a LOT more fires than there used to be.
Especially when your driving way too fast and crash. SMH

Oh well, that’s how they wanted to live🤷🏻♂️. I don’t feel sorry for these kids anymore.
Congrats on losing your humanity.
What's with the continuous talking in the background?
The edgars dropping like flies
We don’t know if they were and we have “Edgars” in Texas, too. An epidemic.
@@IvisH23 yeah it was
Thankfully no innocent person lost there life. Speed is never a good thing
This does not happen going 35mph, a wooden pole and a concrete pole both cut in half!??🤔 come on man 🤦♂️slow down people!!
Dont drink and drive

Los jóvenes dicen a sus padres que ya saben que es bueno y que es malo...
Hoy en día los jóvenes dicen que saben más que los adultos
Speed kills. RIP.
Kill Speed with the Brake pedal......NOT Your friends by going through Red lights!!
It will indubitably a 'very simple funeral'
RIP
R.I.P Kids❤
Why? Kids believe their invisible. May God envelope them in his arms.🙏💜😢
The Lord giveth and the Lord shall take it away.
Bad parenting
Life is not precious to a lot of people. Their ego sacrificed their lives
The old way was to buy a kid a big car so they wouldn't get hurt in their first accident today
The "old way" was wrong...learn basic physics.
This is so sad 😞 to watch…🙏Rip🙏
teens with a lexus... who paid the rent? some stupid parent?
Think theyre invincible & that it won't happen to them.......until it does 😢
My car fast! pole says hold my beer.
Red means stop. Oh, well.
Slow down, pray watch the speed limit! 😢🙏🤓🤓🤓😇

So many aiming to be Darwin Award winners.
