I remember late last year (and a good portion into this year) Jup was saying that Konami was gonna announce a DS 'Vania collection sometime in 2023. Dunno if it'll happened in 2024, but hopefully it's being worked on.
When watching these sorts of runs, my mind wanders and I have to wonder how the devs would react to them while in the process of making the game. Would they change anything? Would they just be cool with it? Would they not care?
to grind exp and commit genocide: city of haze, two shaman rings (requires at minimum two runs) and speed, go to underground room counterpart (secret room in secret room) with the rippers, (i have hm lv 1 cap beaten so funni dmg) and dash into them (heavy armor is really good because high def)

It's still wild that the game just lets you triple jump like that.
It doesn't "just let you"; the partner jump trick is technically a glitch (albeit a fairly easy one to pull off).
