- Hi there! I'm very happy to finally show you this cover. I've been planning to sing it for a while. "Meadows of Heaven" by Nightwish is one of the songs that instantly make me tear up. Those lyrics... That melody... So intense and full of emotions! I hope I didn't ruin it for you. I truly did my best and poured my heart into it. Let me know what you think about it!

Jane and Abi have left me again. Abi is on an archaeological dig in Yorkshire. So I have spent the evening on the Andra Ariadna playlist Nightwish. Normally I watch every second of the videos A you are so beautiful, B the videos are so imaginative and entertaining, tonight I just lay on the bed listening. Do a sudoku puzzle, lie eyes closed listening , do a sodoku. Etc etc. Boudicca lies beside me giving doggie snores. Bella jumps up, gives me a lick and jumps back to her bed, then does the same a few minutes later. As far as possible, when wifeless and daughterless, a perfect evening. What I have learned is that Andra Ariadna does NOT do Nightwish covers. Tuomas Holopainen gets Nightwish to record demo tracks of his work pending the definitive Andra Ariadna recording. Thank you Andra for a perfect evening.

You can really sustain long notes consistently. Your singing seems quite effortless. No need to fear for you, knowing you're going to do just fine. Lots of emotion.
Great choise that you decided to sing the gospel vocal parts, male and female in the original song, too, your way. So essential part of the song, would have been a big loss had you left them out, well done.
I like this song a lot, beautiful melody, lyrics, big arrangement, emotion! In the comments of the original Nightwish version several people said they want this song to be played in their funeral.
I think this was a good song to cover because it is a less known Nightwish song for no good reason. And there is no good quality live version by Nightwish.

At the beginning of the year, I was particularly drawn to the original. Looking back, listening to this now and understanding that every word from "The scent of awakening; wild honey and dew" to "Flowers wither, treasures stay hidden until I see the first star of Fall" highlighted a chapter in this year. I see i left a comment, one year ago. 'Jane and Abi have left me again.Abi is on an archeological dig'. I must have seen this video several times in the meantime. But what a deja vu that this lovely Andratrack and my comment should pop up, just as i am alone with J&A away on a dig 'up north'. Of, by the way, this is a MUCH BETTER track than anthing ive yet heard on the new NW album. Tuomas should definitely revisit Imaginaerum himself to remind him of what he was capable of.
