- A Kirkland restaurant has been shut down by Public Health - Seattle & King County officials after 34 people reported gastrointestinal illness symptoms after eating from the establishment's food truck at a private event.
Tacos El Guero was investigated on Monday by public health officials, after a group reported becoming sick the day after consuming food from the truck on Sept. 14.
Per public health, investigators found a number of potential risk factors for bacterial toxin growth in mobile food trucks and the restaurant. These risk factors included "inadequate refrigeration and improper cooling of food," as well as "inadequate equipment, improper reheating, and lack of managerial oversight."

If that's true, they weren't open for business, then why was the open sign on 😮?
got super sick after eating jimmy johns in redmond. 😱 2 days of nonstop explosive diarrhea. no food is safe!
Did you take a look into their kitchen first? That's often what I do upon entering a restaurant.
Wait when? Was it from sprouts before they stopped selling them? I used to be the gm at that jimmy johns, I'm so critical about them these days because their kitchen looks so below standard I'd flip it was my store still
And people wonder why I don't trust food trucks. Gotten food poisoning more than once and I have seen how poor some of these places are at food safety. And following the food safety rules.
I don't understand the attraction to food trucks. I never liked eating from any of them when they came to my work. One comes to my neighborhood once a week. People line up. I don't get it.
Sometimes people want to appear so tolerant and invincible. Or they don't know what really good and safe foods are like.
Super gross 🤮 not even a permit for the truck. They could’ve killed people with the tainted food.😢🤮🌮😢
So .... RUclips, have you asked any of the vile Trump-haters to be civil and respectful ? @gregreg. Are you surprised that they don't have a permit, when it's reasonable to suspect that some of these food-vendors jumped the border and have violated numerous laws in order to even have and operate a food truck ?
Taco No Bueno
Celebrating diversity ❤
This is why I DO NOT eat out🤢🤮🤢
And that's why I do not eat from food trucks
That’s how you are supposed to react to Mexican food trucks.
Nah takeout is the real threat this is rare
Seattle and the surrounding areas have some of the most trash food ive ever had.
probably buying all there meat and products from the smokers
Mmmmm liquid guts
Their trucks need to be confiscated and auctioned off. Second offense is life in prison.
Absurd to suggest that they can get permitted and reopen. They should be banned from selling food for life.
I cook my own tacos
The worst food poisoning i ever had was from McDonalds egg McMuffin years ago. Egg was bad. I called up the manager and told her. She just apologized. Im talking blood diarrhea. Was horrible.
Have had a few other cases of food poisoning but never as bad as McDonalds.
