I actually hope that he can play Sephiroth from Final Fantasy. That is another badass and complicated character which I think he will excel in. Thranduil in his armour looks like Sephiroth in some ways.

He does not force any accent, instead makes the role his own...this guy is the epitome of an Actor...I wish him grand success.
