    SOUNDBITE (English) Kristi Yamaguchi, athlete:
"Obviously, it's a huge, huge honor. And, you know, I think a lot of pride comes along with it, not just, you know, recognizing the Olympic achievement, but, also being, you know, recognized during AAPI month and, following in the footsteps of some incredible women that I idolize, Anna May Wong and Maya Angelou and Rosa Parks, I, you know, hard to see me put in the category with them. But, you know, it's always incredible and great to see that AAPI month is definitely more celebrated and I think shines a spotlight on many stories, and Asian-American stories that, are so positive and, and great and, to continue in that tradition, yeah, it's a big honor."

    SOUNDBITE (English) Kristi Yamaguchi, athlete:
"I mean, I think they were my best friends growing up. Many hours definitely. I had lots of fun. I was telling my girl-my girls actually even played with them until they were maybe almost middle school, and I was about the same, so, yes, many years and hours."

    SOUNDBITE (English) Kristi Yamaguchi, athlete:
"It looks like me for sure. You know, the eyes and just the shape of the face. And then, of course, the hair, for sure. I mean, it has the bangs that are the 90s, you know, big hair bangs, and the bow in the back. So, yeah, some, many, many details."

    SOUNDBITE (English) Kristi Yamaguchi, athlete:
"You know, the timing of it being launched, you know, prior to AAPI month and throughout is so meaningful. I think just, you know, the more Asian-American stories that we can tell and use to inspire the next generation, I think the better. And, I mean, obviously it's a huge honor, but, you know, that's what the Inspiring Woman series is all about highlighting the accomplishments and what so many of you know the women featured in that series have done, and, you know, when when kids see themselves or see someone who inspires them, then it just opens up their world and, you know, their imagination to what's possible."
