Jara and Slapbak are my favorite band. I am very happy to hear some new music from them. Thanks for pulling me out of this musical wasteland that is now. Sincerely your fan from Philadelphia.
Great song! Had not been to Hollywood in a while but I can tell it has changed. A lot of folks have left the west coast including some of my family and relocated to Florida!
Well when you were impersonating Parliament/Funkadelic at The Club Lingerie and buying vintage threads on Melrose Ave back in the day, old people who were young in the days of Ciro’s, The Brown Derby and movie stars like Clark Gable and Lana Turner were saying the exact same thing.
@@studiobauhaus7740 You missed the point. Each generation thinks the newer generations aren’t as good as theirs was when they were young. People who grew up listening to Lil Wayne are already saying how much better rap was then compared to now.
@@AntwhaleNearfar thats not true. Hollywood movie stars like Lana Turner could still go to the Brown Derby and other classic places and see the progress of the Hollywood films in the 80s. The same with the music industry in the 80's where there was a rebirth of the 50s and other classic music styles trends mixed in with the new technology. Todays generation is no where near as creative because of the technology and culture of doing everything for money and not for the art.
If funk is the bread, these guys are the butter.
