For brass I use the Frankford Arsenel Tumbler with larger stainless steel media and it works great. I also put a little lemi shine it with it to make the brass sparkle! Thanks for watching
Thank you for this demonstration. I was interested in tumbler cleaning that did the least damage to the coins. Did either the case tumbling media or the shot Jewelers Mix cause scratching on the coins or were they about equal? Which would you recommend more.
Hi Susan. This cleaning method is only for coins you plan on turning in. Using any kind of abrasive (metal, sand, ect.) will scratch your coins. If the coins might be old/collectable do not use this method of cleaning.
@@MetalDetectingwithPete Thank you Pete. I am using the Ugly Box/Low slow Electrolysis on anything that is good. I was looking for a good way to clean common clad but no to damage it too much either. Your video helped with that.
The coins I run thru this are for turn in. This makes them clean enough to go thru the banks coin sorter with out issues. I don't use this on old or silver coins. Thanks
That is amazing how dirty that water was. I have never seen them be cleaned that way. Thanks for sharing your cleaning technique.
Thanks for watching! I was amazed how much dirt comes off of clean coins as well...
Very nice upload, such precious coins💜

@@susantoker7254 Your welcome this does minimal damage/scrapes when cleaning. Use the jewlers blend of stainless steel media and it works great
I read some where that hot water would cause gas in your Tumbler and blow the Lid off.
Will keep that in mind. thanks for sharing
