If FtIsland were an American band playing rock like this they would have legions of fans. I really don't understand why South Korea doesn't appreciate how amazing they are. When they released Pray it felt like they were finally really showing themselves and now they come with Take Me Now and they shine so bright. They are amazing artists they deserve so much more than they receive.
I know what you mean sadly as of right now there's a trend going on. Koreans prefer idols groups with a cute, innocent concept for girl groups and flower boys and hip hop for boy groups. It sucks that kpop to me has become bland I mean there arw good groups but most of the concepts used are recycled. Ft island seriously deserves recognition and I love the fact they don't care about charts since music is their passion.
It doesn't matter if concepts are recycled, it's the execution of the concepts that matters. The idea of Take Me Now has been done many times before but what makes this amazing is how they did it.

Hongki's voice is no joke, man. I've listened all their songs since they debuted until now and his voice is just perfect for every kind of comeback they had (ballads, rock).
FT Island are just amazing and it's a pity that they're so underrated.
They can play any genre and they play it well.

I've heard many bands and many kpop groups and though many have very good singers some of them seem to have these sorta of very similar voices...Hongki's is just unmistakable, if you hear him once and pay attention you can't not know its him when you hear him again. It is just wow

I love everything about this band. Their voices and musical talent is beautiful in their audio and it's exactly the same live. They're real and honest to their fans and they're not afraid to speak out and talk the truth.
The Primadonna's I come across are so pleasant and rarely cause drama and and I love that too. I'm so happy to be a primadonna and be part of the fandom and I can't wait for next year to celebrate ten years of FT Island

I like the way they have take after Pray song
compared to Pray, this song is easier to take in. It's like you can't listen to Pray if you are not into it. Because in Pray you need to be one with their emotions to realize how beautiful the song is. This song, well I may say, it goes straight to your ears, mind and heart.... hmmm.. perhaps it is because I feel lost most of the time? This is really a work of true artists.
I'm atheist so i don't rlly connect w the lyrics of pray but i still lov the song maybe you just feel connected to this song more ?
I get what you mean, I love Pray , but I need to be in the right mood for it to really speak to me. This one is more of a fight song so it's more to pump you up

+💀DaniieL DeaD💀 Ftisland is very active in Japan, more so even than in Korea. They released an albulm there I think in April and after the Korean promotions and hongki's musical they will have a tour there... so it is quite possible for them to have a collaboration there 😊

Hongki's throat is way too delicate and you can often see it getting sick he doesn't intend to stop smoking. He better treat it with more care.
