Did you buy your turbo before fp switched to their stainless housing? If so how many miles have you put on it? That acceleration is sick with the 4.11, I'd also love to have the viii 5th for highway. Love the setup!

Yes, I bought it in 2014 . I've put about 15K hard miles but use Ethanol so EGT's are cooler. I've also done a handful of road course days on it without issues. Here is my build thread that goes into more detail. The 4.11 really needs a stroker engine since its taller. Thanks man

Correct me if I’m wrong but the EVO 8 5th year is identical to EVO 9. The difference between EVO 8 and 9 transmission is 1st gear(taller in EVO 9) and 2nd/3rd gear(taller in EVO 8). A lot of EVO 9 guys go with EVO 8 3rd and 4th gear. That’s what I did when I had Shep build my transmission. It’s the perfect setup.

Yes its 10% taller then the stock 4.53 final drive ratio.
