Nashville vs Vancouver reaction yo arguably best game of the playoffs so far
Only the last 3 minutes of regulation and the first 2 minutes of OT cause the rest of the game was very boring. I'm a big Nucks fan and I did not expect them to score 2 goals with the goalie pull to tie the game with Scissons hitting an empty net post in between those 2 goals.
But, after the last 2 goals scored by the Canucks, I was kind of expecting them to score in OT as they had all the momentum. Nashville did give Nucks a lot of time and space in OT cause they seemed completely rattled by the Nucks comeback in regulation that they forgot to play their game in OT.

18:28 it’s part of the hockey code that if you lay a dirty hit or do something dangerous or dirty especially against a star player that you’re supposed to “answer the bell” or accept when a player tries to fight you, but there’s nothing in the rules about it. It’s just hockey culture.
Last time the leafs won a series was last year but lost to the panthers in the 2nd round. Last time they won a cup was 1967

Nice one getting to the Nashville Vancouver game from last night. As a big Canucks fan, this ending was insane! Scoring 2 goals with the goalie pulled to tie it, with the game tying goal coming at 7 seconds left in the game is just storybook stuff. And then win it in OT is the best feeling. Especially when it seemed that that game wasn’t ours to win for most of the game. Playoff hockey at its finest! The elation of your team winning in sudden death OT is something to experience.

The Leafs last Stanley Cup Finals appearances was in 1967 which was the last time they won the Stanley Cup.
The furthest they have gotten since 1967 was the conference finals.
If someone challenges you to a fight, you *should* fight back in hockey. It is bad decorum to refuse a fight, particularly if you committed the offense that the other player is trying to fight you over. That was a rookie move from Rempe.

Ovi has 1 or 2 seasons left on his contract. I think its pretty likely he passes gretzkys goal total, but im less sure about it than i was at this time last year. What i am sure about though, is if he does pass gretzky, he will retire immediately. He'll probably just hang out at the arena on game days and sign autographs through the end of his contract.

NHL Playoffs. Nicely done NOOB. That was Quinn Hughes-this year’s top defensemen-that deked out the Nashville player causing him to wipeout. I think he was trying to poke check the puck so he could go score. Huge mistake! He could have won the game there if he went for the hit instead.

Nashville is a really good team. I really do think they’re just a couple pieces away from having a very dangerous lineup. Should be good competitors in the next couple years.

As a preds fan… all I can do is give credit and hope we bounce back. Lebron led the Cavs back in the finals so 3-1 leads can get blown. Ik that’s a basketball reference but that’s the most memorable 3-1 choke we’ve seen in a series.
As a Flames fan , I’ve been cheering hard for Nashville. I wanted to see Vancouver (especially Lindholm) bounced from the playoffs. Needless to say , I was just as unhappy with the comeback as Preds fans , especially with Lindholm scoring the OT winner ... Lol.The Preds have worked hard and deserve a better fate in this series. If they can keep it up , get a few breaks , and with the Canucks down to their third string goalie , they have a better chance than most of coming back from a 3-1 deficit.

You can decline a fight IF they ask. They don't always ask.
It's technically an extra "instigator" penalty if you fight a guy who isn't willing though so, you'll put your team on the penalty kill.
