I got two things during the B&N buy 1 get one 50% sale the manhua for MDZS/Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation and Thousand Autumns (both first volumes). Seaside Stranger also has an anime movie adaptation as well. It is five volume series (Seaside Stranger Umibe no Estranger was a one-shot volume and Harukaze is four volumes). I also preordered the Special edition version of the final volume of Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation/MDZS novel along with Chi's Sweet Home Omni 2 and Yuzu the Pet Vet for my niece. Great haul and video
Awesome haul! Lately I've been trying to complete my collection of Fire Force and soul eater so I can binge them. I'm also collecting and binging all of Dragonball, the Dragonball Z box set arrives tomorrow and I'm so excited!
Seaside Strangers will always be my favorite (was my first BL), and the art is so cute. The movie based on the first volume is really good too. I also ordered Insomniacs after School, The Valiant Must Fall and Tista as new volumes to try. Can’t wait to receive them. The author of Metamorphosis was on Trash Taste podcast a while ago. I haven’t read it (only heard about it) and haven’t seen the full podcast yet but maybe you’ll find it interesting.

I read "last gender" thanks to this video! I'm on both the aromantic and asexual spectrums and it's very rare to find representation, let alone even more specific identities like there are in this manga so that was great. excited to read volume 3 when it comes out :)
I recently finished reading the second volume and I’m also excited for the third! There’s so much new information and so much insight that this manga taught me!
I blindly ordered volume 1 of Otohime Diver, and am super excited to read it. It’s an oversized volume, and it’s one of the most gorgeous volumes I’ve ever seen. Art and book are both gorgeous and super high quality, just hope the story lives up to expectations. Love the art book at the end!
@@simonsaburou I’m about a third of the way through and I’m really enjoying it. The art is absolutely gorgeous, and there is so much promise for the story. Everything is extremely detailed, and the sheer size of the book makes it seems like an opulent experience. Worth every penny already.
Happy birthday, Simon! I hope it was a good one. As far as my most recent pickups go, I got volumes 9 and 10 of Vinland Saga. I'm almost caught up with the series, which is kind of sad to say because I want more of it! 😂 I know the mangaka plans to end the series soon, so it'll be bittersweet when the series does reach its conclusion. It's also been a minute since I've done this... member recommendation: Box of Light by Seiko Erisawa. It's a small series only containing three volumes so far, but it's pretty interesting from what I've read. It's about a convenience store between life and death and handles some dark topics. I know you like dark stories, so this one might be right up your alley.

Im cannot recommend Insomniacs enough! Im really enjoying this series, its a very good and calm slice of life with some romance elements. Read up to volume 5 and still enjoying it. In Germany we are a little bit ahead, compared to the English release :)
At thisnpoint I’d have juet bought everything bcs of the discount ngl 😂😂😂😂 anyway, great vid like always!! And love your stunning nail polish omg, it gives me mad spring vibes 🎉🎉
you should pick up heaven official's blessings / tian guan ci fu ( you looked at it last video) I have all the volumes released so far and I know how most of the story continues and it gets very depressing especially when it starts going into the main characters past. It may be hard to get into with the first volume snice you have to get used to new words but theres a glossary behind every volume to make it easier. it's also a bl. I would recommend looking through the trigger warnings tough because theres a lot. (there's also a lot of meaning in little things that you find out in the future) and there's also a dounghua that covers the first volume.
I binge watched a bunch of your videos a few months ago when I was first getting into manga, and getting back into your videos i feel like ive seen a big improvement with your camera presence and how you talk while filming. Just wanted to point that out

I could be wrong but i think they just released a graphic novel of this. I might check out the donghua first and then go to the novel.
