    I went back and watched it a second time. I heard you call it Expert Menu, and I knew White's Spectra V3i has an expert menu. And it is Expert Menu. You have learned your metal detectors very well. Thanks for the video.

      Thanks for the comments. I got a long way to go on this one but will keep playing with it to hopefully find some more settings that make it even better.

    I started with hunting in General as my first custom program for the Deus 2 and had it set up almost exactly as you showed it. Yup, I like it too.

      I am still learning it and got a long ways to go but hopefully I can find some more setting and tweaks that work good in my ground.

      I have mostly preferred minelabs in the past because of the type of places I hunt. I had the original Deus but it did not work that great for me. It liked to call deep aluminum foil a good target. Nothing like digging down 9 inches to recover a piece of foil that sounded like a good coin. But this Deus 2 is a whole different animal. I have found more good targets in the first two weeks I have owned it than I did with my other detectors all last year. By good I mean old coins, etc. There is something about this detector that will pull good targets from areas already detected. My friend (Kenny has the Manticore and likes it) He let me try it for a few hours. I would not trade my Deus 2 for one.......Good luck in whatever you choose.

    If you haven't tried it already you might try using the Diving program in a park with heavy pull tabs. Adjust it as you want. I put out about 12 pull tabs in a 6" area and put a dime in the pile and the Deus 2 pulled it right out. I would be interested in how you think of it.

    Thanks. this is very helpful. I have a question on a sidenote: Several years back you use a digging trowel that had orange paint on the blade. Who made that digger? I thought it might have been a Lesche.

    • @DirtFishing
      @DirtFishing  Год назад +1

      The digger is called a predator raptor model 31C. Sold by predator tools.

    I have just one question for you, if you had to pick one machine and one only which would it be?

    • @DirtFishing
      @DirtFishing  Год назад +1

      It would have the be the Deus II for sure.

    Should be great for coins! Civil war bullets are going fall into your mid tone 67-82 notch.

      @DirtFishing  Год назад +1

      I dug a civil war bullet two days ago that came in a like an 83-84. I think some of the smaller ones may hit a bit lower. I have that zone opened up but just with a lower tone so I can still investigate them too.

      @@DirtFishing Yeah, those big 69 cals will hit up up in that range and I have had some ringtails bump 83 on occasion.
