- Опубликовано: 6 июл 2024
- Today, my wife and I picked up a $100 box of nickels and searched through the rolls to see who could find the most rare and interesting coins. Winner gets to pick where we go for dinner and loser pays! This box had some GREAT finds right off the bat and definitely kept us on our toes the whole way through. Watch on to see what we find!

Hi Quin, I’m a delivery driver and I rarely get change as tips or a form of payment, but today some guy gave me some spare change he had and I got a 1938 S Jefferson Nickel. I was so disappointed in the low tip but then my face immediately brightened when I saw what he gave me
Ryan and Debo: CONGRATULATIONS on your wedding!! I am so happy and excited for you two!
Right off the bat, I love the banter between you two. I liked seeing Quin by himself, but I LOVE seeing the two of you hunting together!
Hmm.... Nic-a-date a common dateless philly buffalo worth 7 cents? Yes there's obviously nothing to lose. 😁
Wait “wife”? Thats how you announce y’all got
married?!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤ congrats!
A few weeks ago, he had her on as his "fiancee" and mentioned that it was the last video before the wedding. So it wasn't a complete surprise, at least. (I don't have a chance to watch very often, so I don't know if it was announced more thoroughly at other times, but he did mention it at least once.
What a great couple you are! So nice that you share a hobby.
Congratulations on getting married and congratulations on another great episode. When Ryan's notification comes up I'm watching..
Man it is always a great day when Quin posts
Congrats on the wedding! You 2 are fun together. Liked the "so what's your least favorite food" question. Lol. Can just imagine the honeymoon. "Babe are you ready? And....3...2.. 1!" 😂
That was fun! Keep the videos coming!
Thanks! I'm trying my best!
A buffalo nickel that has dots in it? Looks similar to my 1930 Philadelphia wheat penny that also has dots in it
Stop rigging the rolls Quinn. 😂 #TeamDebbo
your competition hunts are awesome
You are doing great job. Yesterday I found a 1949 helvetica gold swiss coin into a nickel hunt.
Nice! I have found a couple of those in the past but not recently. They are always fun to find!
Gratz to the happy couple!! Yes, please nick-a-date the spotted buff...
Congratulations to you both!!
Pretty sure that the buffalo nickel is a 1927. But cool find and congrats on the wedding.
He’s back
How do you hunt for Eisenhower dollars
Go to the bank, ask for half dollars. Thats how u can get them
@@folcons3588 The big 70s ones right
Congratulations Guys!!! Yeah, nic-a-date short!!
Congrats on the wedding
Congrats on your wedding and keep bugging each other in a good way. After 35 yrs of marriage, keeping it fun is the secret sauce. Ryan you inform us, but with Debo you entertain us. Ha! Ryan I went to one of those marriage conferences early in my marriage and the guy leading said something I'll tell you now. Listen to Debo every day. Don't try to fix it just listen. That's all she'll want is to be heard. Blessings to you both 🙏.
Nice hunt
Hey there, Quin. I'm not sure if the region affects your coin finds dramatically, but I live in New England, and after only about half a year of hunting cents, I've found myself two Indian head cents (1868 and 1896), a 1943 steel (YES, STEEL) cent, and my most recent find, a plain 1909 Lincoln cent! How about that?
So I just wanted to know, what would you consider your best find in hunting cents?
Yessss new video
Awww. I'm so happy for you guys. Congratulations
Really enjoy your videos. Useful information for the beginner coin collectors like me and entertaining as well. I just found my 1st buffalo nickel in a roll yesterday also no readable date. Still really searching for a better 2009 and a 1938 nickel. Congratulations on the wedding and I wish you two a long, happy marriage!
Thank you so much Asher and congrats on your first buffalo! Hopefully first of many! :D
Congrats on the wedding, may it be blessed till the end of time
Hey Quin I know this question is nothing related to this video but while I was looking through my change, I found a 1933 Canadian penny is that rare?
Nice video! I just recently got some of my first ever nickel rolls and on my second one I found two 1939 nickels!
That's awesome! Thank you for sharing and thank you for the support!
Hey Quin! Today I found a 1937 no mint mark wheat penny and there was an error. The L in Liberty was right at the rim so I was wondering if you could give me the value of my coin. Thanks.
Can’t find 2024 p or d nickel😮
Not yet! I think they should be making an appearance sometime soon though
Just had a box with a buff a V a proof 2 silvers 38D and 18 finds before 1955 what is my score!?
What’s up Quin! Nice to see you pull out a Buffalo nickel! How are you doing?
Hey dude! I've been doing alright, thanks for asking! I hope you've been doing well too!
on Friday i found a 1953 wheat at Walmart
Nice!
I so wish I had a wife/girlfriend into coins and metal detecting like I am. I miss CRHing. I remember when I was a kid in the 80s how often you'd find buffalo nickels and wheaties in your change........even the occasional Indian. And is it possible to find a shield nickel? I know they're slightly smaller. I figure any coin sorter would spit those out.
It's always possible to find another common interest! There are so many hobbies/activities out there, you just gotta find the one that you both enjoy!
I found an 1869 Shield nickel in the coinstar back a few years ago here in Canada.
Yes nik
Leave the niickle
Was that a buffalo nickel you missed at 20:16 in the video? 20:16
I saw that as well. He definitely missed it.
it's 2005 commemorative nickel hundreds of millions made
Buffalo faces right. 2005 Jefferson nickel. A "buffalo nickel" faces left.
@@PaulEHill928 didn’t know that. Thanks
Great hunt! I had the luck of the century in nickels recently. Three V nickels in three weeks! A few silvers and buffalos too, and a few semi-key dates. Five boxes checked over those three weeks.
