Excellent instructions! I have a Nissan Titan 2004 pick up and installing a 12” Urvolax front and rear cameras. What is the best approach to install the rear dash cam on the rear bumper hiding the wires? Under the the truck in the frame or follow the established wiring harness to the engine compartment? Thank you
I looked at some pictures and the simplest way is to install on top of the license plate. If the tailgate hits the rear dash cam when you lower the tailgate then move to right or left of the license plate. Then run the wires under the truck and use one the grommets to enter the cabin. I would try to mount the rear dash cam next to the tailgate handle. I attached a video for this procedure. Then follow the wiring to the cabin. ruclips.net/video/OqgmCsDD3Mw/видео.html . I installed this into a Mercedes transport van. The red wire was connected to the reverse light. The camera works, but shifting into reverse doesn’t change anything. Is there something else I needed to do?
If you are reviewing your files in your computer, select "R" from the open files to select the Rear Footage. If you are review the footage from the dash cam, select the file icon on the left of the record icon. The file icon is a back symbol with a triangle in it. Your files will then be displayed. Touch the bottom icon which will toggle between the from camera to the back camera.

Looks like even without it powered up, it's still shiny enough to be an actual rear view mirror!
Does the front dash camera fall off from hot weather days? seems like those double tape doesn't work if it heats up.

The software is called Car DVR Player. However you can use any brand software to play the videos.
