I believe there are only around 200 legislators of the over 7,000 in state and federal elected office that were not millionaires before they ran. Not surprisingly, I can type a google search in fifty formats to get the basic data 'how many USA congress members are not rich?" into this here google-machine and get nothing about that matter. That would exacerbate the problems of insider trading and bribing public officials. You need to extend that idea by saying public officials can only receive their public salary, any gifts they receive must be disclosed, and any stocks they own must be put into a blind trust.

I love the way we always see the large number of these bussed in crowds leaving half way through. Perhaps they shouldn't pay them until it ends? I was disappointed with Ari's characterization of Cohan's "blood bath" moment of cross examination. The "CSpan photograph" entered in redirect
provided the jury with substantial corroberation of the "2 topic" phone call offered by Cohan. Imho the only "blood bath" was the media's effect on
neutral, fact based reporting, instead of "click bait"
Is it Schadenfreude to acknowledge that the defenses' only witness made Cohen look like and alter boy.

This trial should have been filed in a more timely manner. Shame to the people who dragged their feet! Speculation is rampant, which is silly, only the jury has the last say. It is foolish to second guess.
Remember one week ago on MSNBC: “I think the punches are building cumulatively. I think Tuesday there were bruises and today there’s blood, to extend the metaphor,” Melber said. Melber and other MSNBC hosts overreacted to Todd Blanche's question of Cohen. Not hearing any "I got it wrong" from Ari here.

Re Harvard withholding protesters' degrees:
To deny college degrees is to levy fines equal to cost of living, books, tuition, and interest accrued to date on student loans, multiplied by each year attended;
Plus,
"stealing" the years of each life that were dedicated to studies is comparable to a jail term;
Plus,
paying student loans without the benefit of the career degree earned will expose indebted students to loan interest, collection fees + fines, and low credit ratings (possibly not even qualifying to rent apartments, no less get car loans &/or home loans)!
These punishments are unacceptably excessive for protesting.

Well after Michael took the opertunity to lie to the jury I would expect to see a not guilty verdict or a acquittal. It was surprising to see the judge send everyone off for the weekend when this could be decided in a few minutes of deliberation, the witnesses lied, so how credible is he?
looks like you are thoroughly confused.
first, this isn't a trial of cohen. cohen was already tried, convicted, and served his sentence for participating in the defendant's crimes. the defendant in this case is tfg.
second, closing arguments have not even taken place yet, so it’s not time for jury deliberation.
third, cohen is one person, so asserting that "the witnesses lied" is nonsensical at best.
forth, "a not guilty verdict or an aquittal" is redundant. they are the same thing.
fifth, a criminal trial is not a game of 'gotcha', conducted by determining a defendant's guilt based on the perfection of everything all witnesses say. the determination will be based on all the evidence provided.
