This was a while ago; that rune works very well, and it helps me not need survival starts. I can't waste points into toughness unless I want to max it due to the mechanics of damage scaling. Instead, I am pathing into block nodes and playing at max range. This video is just to show what looks to be an unintentional mechanic! Honestly, builds are all still broken so long as the game remains so unbalanced. Anything that's not toughness max and material based with ailments is probably a hundred times weaker.
@@AlexInoue considering the absolute state of the game with bleeding edge, thats true, sadly. Imo the easiest way to fix this would be to implement either weapon swap or have spell-damage scale with weapon-damage, make spell-damage work multiplicative, or at least change the formula so that it involves (X+Flatdamage)*1+%Spelldamage instead of X*1+%Spelldamage+Flatdamage. That would make the squishier magebuilds more akin to a glass-cannon and increase teamplay-value.
