It's "Refined Grove Ranger" in the Hero Architect on Elune!

This was a while ago; that rune works very well, and it helps me not need survival starts. I can't waste points into toughness unless I want to max it due to the mechanics of damage scaling. Instead, I am pathing into block nodes and playing at max range. This video is just to show what looks to be an unintentional mechanic! Honestly, builds are all still broken so long as the game remains so unbalanced. Anything that's not toughness max and material based with ailments is probably a hundred times weaker.

@@AlexInoue considering the absolute state of the game with bleeding edge, thats true, sadly. Imo the easiest way to fix this would be to implement either weapon swap or have spell-damage scale with weapon-damage, make spell-damage work multiplicative, or at least change the formula so that it involves (X+Flatdamage)*1+%Spelldamage instead of X*1+%Spelldamage+Flatdamage. That would make the squishier magebuilds more akin to a glass-cannon and increase teamplay-value.

Yes, there is! If you focus on stacking bleed and/or poison, and you take the 2nd ring nodes that buff them, then your dps will increase drastically. Currently, bleeding edge has broken scaling, so you could splash into that skill with the material ailment damage for very overturned dps, but be aware that it will be nerfed in my opinion. In general, you can just look for all res/hp gear with material % damage to buff your ailments, and that would also do the job. My gear was not focused as this was done on Saturday while the servers were down and I just re-leveled a new character.

No uniques are required. I just looked for any items with elemental damage/damage. CDR too if it came with damage. For this clip, I'm using a chest unique called "Frostweave Quillittuq" that converts freeze chance into crit chance for that spell/attack (but you don't generate freeze ailment). I don't even know if it's a net gain, but it does allow perma-crits with winter's grasp. I keep it because it has good elemental damage. Get as many Support 2/Offense 3 sockets as possible to stack lightning damage/shock ailment. Find shock ailment damage on a 1h, it's the only stat that really matters. Make sure you have enough added lighting to spells stat to make all your spells shock.
