- 👋🏻 Hey guys! In today's video, I explain how much money you can expect to make from sports betting (sportsbetting). I've used 2 methods - one is arbitrage betting which is a risk free way to make a profit from betting and the other is positive EV value where the expected returns are higher but it is more risky. I explain all the factors . Hope you guys can find it insightful but please do more research first on arbitrage betting before betting any of your actual money.
I wanted to make this video because I really think today is the BEST and most profitable and efficient side hustle (that is also tax free). Of course when you start off, there will be a bit of a steep learning curve but after that it is very smooth sailing and you can make a decent amount of money - exactly how much money you can make from arbitrage or positive EV betting, I go through in this video. :)

@@nickmc5391 no this isn't a scam. All professional gamblers will tell you the same thing. You need to place bets with the bookies when the odds are in your favour. This happens all the time and there is software that can easily find them. The bookies will quickly alter the odds back in their favour again but there is still plenty of time for you to place a bet. I can explain more but the term "house always wins" is still true but there are plenty of flaws in the world of sport where things change all the time. This isn't true in places like casinos though

If yes, will I recalculate my position sizing (using kelly criterion) after each bet to place another bet immediately without waiting for the outcome of the first bet.
Example: Assuming I’m betting with $1,000, I used $50 for the first bet which hasn’t been settled. @@chukwuemerieezeigweneme4030 u probably can bet multiple things at once. But u should stick to the same unit size until ur money goes up significantly. If u have $1000, rule of thumb is 1 or 2% which is $20 max. I wouldnt change that until u reach 2k bank roll.

Depends on their terms and conditions, but I imagine withdrawal might be the bigger problem if they require certain ID and/or australian bank accounts

Yea naa it takes hours to find a single arbitrage bet . . . then usually you need to sign up to a new site, then usually you find that the site with great odds has a bet limit then and withdrawal rules and by the time you cash out a couple hundred and work out your hourly rate you find you would have been better off working pretty much any job out there. Maybe if you can program a bot its worth it??

one thing i dont understand is since arbitrage is risk free can you not easily compensate for the lower returns than plus EV betting by simply betting more as there is no risk? you should be able to bet enough to get the same expected return except it's risk free when compared to plus EV?
If you had access to extra extra money to place the arbitrage bets, you'd end up better off in the long term putting that extra money onto the high EV bet. Think of the additional arbitrage bets you'd place like car/house insurance. Any money pay towards your annual insurance in a year you don't make any claims is technically wasted money. Any money you pay towards a non-winning arbitrage bet is not doing any work for you, it's just protecting you from a loss(literally mandatory insurance in this case). While putting the money towards the EV bet is placing a regular bet(money working for you) + some extra(the bookmakers error(or your money working overtime))
That been said(assuming no mistakes/errors) the person using the Arbitrage betting can bet 100% of their money each time and expect something back or at least a NIL loss. While someone doing positive EV betting can't without potentially losing all of their money on a bad week. Though over the long term the positive EV bettor will have bigger profits and therefore eventually have more money to actually place the bets.
Now does anyone know a bank that will give out loans to people to gamble with? One that kneecap you if you miss a payment :P

Im planning to utilize the upcoming AFL/NRL season to place some +EV bets and hopefully make a few grand across the season. I've found some resources that have an amazing track record with AFL/NRL picks being profitable. But I'd only be able to place 5-10 bets a week.
Do bookies ban you simply for being a smart bettor and making a steady profit? would a few thousand profit over a few months be enough to warrant a ban? or do they only ban if they suspect arbitrage?
They will ban based on the ratio of promo bets to standard “mug” bets

I started with about 2.5k. Bankroll is nearly unrestricted now as it has grown with profits

I was just thinking... there's this hilarious irony to arbitrage betting. Instead of you, the customer gambling, you're flipping the script to where the two gambling hosts are essentially gambling against each other for who nets a positive outcome from the bettor. The player becomes the house.

I was making a few hundred a week doing arbitrage for a few months till all the bookies banned or restricted me.
I'd say he's lying about how much he makes..and the course is the main source of his income
Depends how much and how often you bet. Bigger bets can make you more money before they ban you, but if course can probably cause then to ban you quicker.
Right now a few hundred a week for a few months would be a great life blessing for me though

B365..allowed to to bet but ridiculously small amounts like $1. A few others wouldn't let me bet at all after only a few bets with them. Unibet , and crownbet the 1s I can remember. The latter no longer around or renamed.
Most of the bookies don't have extensive nba markets which is where I found most of the arbs..so effectively useless for what I was doing
