Infected Mushroom is one of the hidden gems in music history, they have so much material to get lost into besides official albums, so many styles and collaborations and such music quality that translates in a solid fan base.
In my opinion they are definitely underrated but to the ones that been touched and listen deeply we know they’re hard to forget.
Also they’re really humble in person and they’re so cool that they name their music with such silly names which to me it means they’re really have always been there for the sake of music.
Btw they’re die hard D. T. Fans (they also have a track named like that) lol Probably that’s why they’re that progressive.

@@NicknLex I don't think you'll be able to do a reaction video on it but check out "Infected Mushroom - Dancing with Kadafi" It's a 10 minute song so yea, might be difficult. That song takes you to all kinds of places in your head though. It's an amazing journey. I love they're not afraid of doing long songs like Pink Floyd and others.
They had some of their tracks put into "You Don't Mess with the Zohan" movie (For example "Artillery"). I don't get why "The last of us" (tv series) didn't do a collab with Infected.
I'm a huge IM fan (13 times I've seen them live) and this made me very happy to watch. Thank you.

just saw them, 2 hours but felt more like 8, they had the biggest light show, pyrotechnics, spanish dancers and fire artists. the way they teased with the biggest build ups to with hold us from it was just wow. This set changed my life!
If you liked this track i strongly recommend listening to Heavyweight. My all time favourite track from Infected Mushroom.

No fucking way someone actually reacted to this!!! Heard this almost 20 years ago when it came out and was absolutely blown away as a metal fan! They are true musicians! Check out Stretched for something similarly structured but sounding widely different.

Yeah, i'm with y'all on this too. Infected Mushroom is one of those bands that holds their groove and takes you on a trip with them. The more you listen to it, the more you hear and realize the nuances and changes in the core elements of their music. Some of the MOST talented musicians on the planet, i believe. LOVE 'EM...!!!

Project 100 is one of my favorite songs of theirs! It's a parkour/rollercoaster run that just takes you places. =>
Their 'Vicious Delicious' is one of my favorite albums. And I don't even listen to this kind of music. But cannot deny this masterpiece.

I was a hardcore metal rock guy in my teens. had long hair. black tees. emo look. the whole thing. then i went to college. got introduced to infected. changed my life forever. outlook towards music as a whole. listen to 'heavyweight' by them
Project 100 and The Messenger 2012 for me are the 2 gems of Infected Mushroom. Never heard nothing like it.

So funny to see you go crazy :-) I didn't know them before; this is definitely everyday-music, but I can imagine, if you are in the right mood, it's gonna make you feel high .... so I will check out some more
They meld so many musical styles into one tune! One of my all time favorite bands! And this was supposed to be a concept album! They were eating shawarma and wanted to make an album that revolved around having them at different places, etc.
Head of NASA, the song itself although the entire album is primo Mushroom IMHO
I think they should do more music like this as its a wonderful mix of all the things I love in music.
Good psytrance: Infected Mushroom, Bliss, Astrix, to name a few.
Also, for metal lovers, there's a great composer from Finland named Antti Martikainen. His most epic work (in my opinion) is called Kalevala. The song is 25 minutes long and you can find it here: ruclips.net/video/bG-bK8e0agQ/видео.html All his albums are available on RUclips.

I might be wrong, but I remember someone saying that the guitar tracks on this album are VSTs and not live. Which is even more impressive to me! My favorite group 😁

What I love about this song is that it goes through seven moods respectively opening up all seven chakras after each other to create a wholesome musical meditation. Like a journey. I show this song to people and after 5 minutes into the song they suddenly find themselves in an all different realm of music than in the beginning ang go "Wait! Is this STILL the same song?". It´s hands down one of the best musical pieces ever created.

Saeed, I Wish, Animatronica, The Messenger 2012, Liquid Smoke, Nutmeg...so many good tracks from these beautiful people. Can never get enough Infected Mushroom. Their music is such a journey, literally brings me to tears sometimes... probably because the actual psychedelic trips I've been on while listening to them...they hit the deepest notes for me for sure lol

Cool song... not aware of them. I don't like techno, but this is much much more listenable. Reminded me a bit of Nine Inch Nails. On a side note, I love your reactions, you seem like very down to earth/salt of the earth type people. Thanks for making all these videos.

Cool stuff, didn't know this band! If you dig techno-trance like music, but with a more organic feel to it, consider trying out Ozric Tentacles, who has quite a catalogue to select from - the two albums, that at this moment comes to my mind, are Erpland and Spirals in Hyperspace
Never heard the mushroom. Wow they are great. Ever heard of Jean-Michel Jarre? French synthesizer player. Big album was 1976’s Oxygene.
if you want a roller coaster of emotion, go for Demons of Pain remix... around min 4, that song becomes epic...
Oh... you would probably love Shpongle... Chilling Matenda... other "psybient" acts like that.

No idea if there's any chance of you seeing this comment after 3 years 🥲 but in the last few months I've REALLY gotten into a lot of Infected Mushroom, and it seems that they were really popular, before slowly dying down in popularity, like now you barely hear about them, so it's nice to know that people still appreciate their music! :D
Idk if you take suggestions, but I would recommend listening to Cities of The Future if you haven't, it's probably in my top 3 favorites from them, but nobody else seems to feel that way about it, like I've suggested it to my friends before, and they either think it's just kind of "eh", or "not bad", but uhhh I'm kiiiiind of obsessed with it lol.

Well if I could recommend another one, it'd have to be "Anyone Else But Me". (Also the youtube auto generation thingy decided to screw over the song by misspelling it)
It's probably their most underrated song, like it starts off as just another IM song, (which still isn't a bad thing) then at 3:00, it pulls a complete 180 and goes from "just another IM song" to a top 10 or maybe even top 5 for me.

Infected Mushroom is trance. Not psytrance and certainly not progressive psytrance.
Funny if you Google it the two genres that came up were Progressive Metal and Psychedelic Trance. Sorry! :P
