Actual continuity explanation for Angel: they’re two different people. Apocalypse’s Archangel never gets a name, while Last Stand explicitly names their Angel as Warren Worthington III. Also, original timeline Angel died in 2011, so Kitty couldn’t have sent him back in time. Last thing, Archangel was British and Warren is American
I love these videos so much! You really do a great job with coming up with explanations using comic book lore that to me makes this universe even better than it already was. Which is why I consider your timeline and explanations the definitive timeline for this universe. Although, I'm curious if you saw the quote where Simon Kinberg said the Fantastic Four take place in a post Days of Future Past timeline. Which is an interesting idea if true because James Gunn revealed that Fox owned Kang the Conqueror as well. Who also has the ability to time travel, which could explain some other inconsistences. I hope you continue this series because they're super fun to watch! Simon Kinberg: "Well this movie take space chronologically before those other films, so it’s more like those films have to acknowledge this than we acknowledge Gambit, Deadpool, or Fantastic Four or anything else that exists within the sort of Fox/Marvel universe. But I work on all of those films in one capacity or another, either as a producer on all of them and as a writer on Fantastic Four and this movie, so I’m certainly aware of all the different stories we’re telling at the same time, and they all are part of a larger fabric now, and so the world of Deadpool, the world of Gambit, exists in a post-Days of Future Past post-Apocalypse world where all of these stories are the same as our shared history." James Gunn: "Shi'ar and Kang are both owned by Fox. All decisions about who is in GotG2 were made a long time ago."
i just rewatched APOCALYPSE today, and i think it's actually my favorite X-MEN movie 🤯 is it objectively the best (if there is such a thing)? maybe not. but i love every second of it! and it does objectively have the best and most epic mutant battles of all the movies BY FAR. i don't understand why it's so underrated.
I have always just thought there were multiple Angel mutants, the one in X-Men First Class, Warren Worthington in Apocalypse, and Warren Worthington the third in X-Men The Last Stand.
I think they are all before Logan but due to deadpools 4th wall breaks and the stolen temp pad deadpool time traveled to after Logan to dìg up the corpse
im gonna leave the same comment that i wrote in your first xmen video: there is no need to place the original trilogy in 1994 and 2000. Just place them in 2000, 2001 and 2006. Origins never states that its 1979 (i know it heavily implies it) so you can ignore it. Then Logan joins Team X and stays with them YEARS (which is more reasonable than just doing a couple of missions) and then 6 years after he left the team the rest of the movie happens: 1973 Victor and Logan fight in Vietnam War and Stryker meets them 1973 Logan works for the mob as seen in DOFP (Stryker didnt form the team immediately) 1974-1979 Team X missions 1985 Rest of the movie 2000 X Men 1 2001 X2 (a couple of months later) 2006 X3 (it was confirmed that the Golden Gate was rebuilt that year) So with those dates in mind the Jean flashback in X3 happens in 1981 (25 years before instead of 20 but come on, its more or less the same. Also 20 years ago and 10 years ago sound incredibly round, i dont think we were meant to take them literally). With those changes in mind, we maintain the ages of Scott and Jean consistent. Scott was 16/17 in 1983 and 18 in 1985 so it makes sense he was in high school. And Jean was 14/15 in 1981 (as the actrees that played her) and 17 in 1983. Bonus: Stryker knows Logan in DOFP he is just surprised to see his claws
@misterok2432 possibly but I can't keep making characters have the name of their parents lol it'll get lazy. I actually formed a new theory after deadpool and wolverine came out
@misterok2432 no I cover that in my first class video. Since first class Emma has diamond and telepathy I suggested that origins Emma is her daughter and her sister and her have first class Emma powers split between them. Origins Emma has diamonds while Kayla silver fox has tactile hypnosis, a version of telepathy
Let me get this straight and if this is right in crack by saying this to you about X-Men, Wolverine origins and X-Men Apocalypse, what makes them any different when the idea is this that importance of the timeline that you would know and I would know both of us would know There is the truth on this pretty much for me to say this to you as to look at it from this point of view what is so different with X-Men origins take place in 1979 when clearly it’s not 1979 looks like it actually takes place 1959 more than alien elves And why would it take place? I seen 79 when it does not fit there I mean at all so would origins go first befo X-Men first class just because that they are just different ideology of what the timeline tells us so if that’s true then we need to look at the timeline a bit more different than other than most and not only that is for us to figure out how does X-Men apocalypse? Why is it supposed to be a sequel to X-Men days of past when clearly the Internet says that X-Men wolverine origins takes place at 1979 when they clear not that at all take place earlier or would it take place later like in 1985 or something like that because you have mentioned that one video about X-Men origins continuity video I do remember this and why can’t X-Men origins go first I mean is it because of the age difference with William Stryker K Bill striker and here’s the scene about you saying that was Charles Xander coming out of that helicopter pretty is a projection of him as not as an illusion, but a projection of Charles Xavier, who put that there only 2 people that knows how to do that that is the fact, Charles Xavier and Jason Stryker so who was it really that put the image in the production image of Charles Xavier outside of that helicopter would be other than Jason Stryker so will that be right that can be kind video that you can do on the X-Men with Xavier and Jason Stryker or something like that because this is something that I am asking you to do kind of because you have to say here from me now according to me this one would have to take place and 85 or something like that so I am just saying this, not by theory, but by giving you the best answer, they can give you that you can use my comment if you want. But if so, then why can’t X-Men wolverine origins go first currently it looks like it takes place in 1985 or 1959 or something like that but I am just saying that but could be possible why can’t that movie go first this is a good question for you to make a video about, but would it be easier to fall on the films and where they are not really set in or follow films just by the plot or the films were they’re not release one after the other or by the time period that they are set in and I agree with the idea to say that we could use a video on Jason striker and Charles Xavier continuity video from you because I am taking that X-Men wolverine horses would either take less than I said 85 or somewhere in the 1950s apparently it looks like it takes place in the 1940s or the 1950s because it looks a lot like that to me not going on but looks like that he was fighting in the war was in the 50s after Vietnam so so I want to know where would that be set at if X-Men Apocalypse replaced it for some reason maybe you can talk about a video about you make a video about it 2 videos that you can do or something like that if you want to that’s fine because I want to know what you think about my timeline here could X-Men origins first or would it take place in 1985?

I think two copies of one comic book character in the same universe is just lazy.
@@Jake-dm4rk Well, that’s Fox for ya
The event where Deadpool kills Weapon XI is a different universe entirely. Marvel’s time travel is just reality hopping at the end of the day

Actually Deadpool 2 retconned itself so now DP&W takes place in the post-DOFP universe just like Deadpool 1
It finally returns! I've always found this series extremely interesting and definitely underrated.
Hell yeah! Thanks
finally youtube let you post it... love your videos man you are truly so underrated
Thanks, it was a hell of an annoying thing getting my video blocked over and over.
There’s literally no evidence that that kid with the skunk stripe is Nate Grey
This is great. Keep it up, man👍
Thanks! I appreciate that .
I wish you can add the TV shows like Legion and the one with polaris in it
I still have to finish them first. I'd like to add them.

Ripples in the timeline
Archangel is not the same character as Angel in the movies, same as Emma Silverfox not being the same character as Emma Frost. A simple solution
That is NOT how you pronounce the word “canonically”
For angel, they are simply 2 deferent characters that have the same powers
To me, saying that so much makes it feel watered down. The Emma's, the angels, jubilee, Deadpool. There has to be a different reason for all of them.
