And then Capone, using an insurance scandal to make money by burning down Blackbeard’s ship, the source of his livelihood. This is one of the most well-matches battles ever, but I think Capone is the clear winner.

This is one of my favourite ERBs, and the visuals are so well done too. EpicLloyd got that sneer perfect and it really sold him as Capone, same with Nice Peter's crazy-eyes thing for Blackbeard. There's a whole stolen cargo sub-plot going on in the background - Blackbeard's men steal the rum that he mentions in his bars, Capone's men hire the Assassin's Creed guy in their warehouse, then he kills Blackbeard's men in revenge right behind him.

A small bar that I appreciate was the sloop John b line which is a reference to the song by The Beach Boys. But a sloop is a type of ship (more of a boat) that’s real small, making that line a rebuttal to the black beards line about the Queen Anne
The reason BlackBeard used Fuses is because slow burning fuses emitted alot of smoke ,meanwhile they were around his face and in the late afternoon they would light him up to look very menacing. That and the smoke created this supernatural illusion and Sailors were one very superstitious bunch. Al Capone jabs at it because for the same reason that it added to his reckless fear factor its kinda dumb to play around Slow fuses that are notoriously hard to put out ,especially on a ship loaded with gunpowder.
I'm loving Al Capone's bars, like the Halloween bar and I love the background event going on where their goons are getting their stuff before Edward comes to the scene. Also, that's a cool shirt.

Capone would tell people he got these scars from fighting in the trenches in World War I, making himself out as this hardcore war veteran, but in reality he never served in the military and he got them from nobody street gangster Frank Galluccio after he saw Capone harassing Frank's sister. This hits even harder because Blackbeard WAS a privateer in the navy before becoming a pirate. On top of that, the scars were on the left side of Al's face, and Blackbeard threatened to smack him Port to Starboard, aka Left to Right.
A line I would like to nominate for the list is from Marilyn Monroe vs Cleopatra... no, not that line. At the end of Cleo's first verse she said Marilyn lost a "bout with barbiturates" to make fun of her death. At the end of Marilyn's second verse she actually brings back the sound of "barbiturates" to talk about how Cleo died, "got bit on the tit" in what I consider a criminally underrated and overlooked rebuttal.
Honestly, I really like the Pirates of the Caribbean series. That's just one of the reasons why rap battle bars should stay away from subjective opinions.

i always kinda felt Capone got that fight because it was the "complete package" character role, flow and style, great word play and execution. plus had a few solid sleeper punches that not many people knew about. like the slapping bitch ass teaches since he was 14 yrs old. Blackbeard's real name was Edward Teach i think. Blackbeard felt like he was more concerned with wordplay rather than overall character role. in these battles instead of the standard judging i usually add how well they get into character as well since it's a fairly epic skill to change your rap style according to who you are trying to portray and still sound good. You know what i mean though xD
