Beautiful and sad. Great series of TITANIC'S Voyage and Sinking. Hope to see a Queen Mary one. When or if you have the time and can that is. Sorry for being rude pest about it. Please and Thank you.
Afterward, the 700 people in the boats had nothing to do but wait. Wait to die, wait to live, wait for an absolution that would never come. -Titanic, 1997
May all those who perished be resting in peace. Still so tragic. 😢🙏❤ Do you guys have any plans to ever do an animation of the Titanic's final descend down to the bottom of the Atlantic? It would be interesting. Also I think it should be okay to go down and document as much of the wreck as possible, as long as people are still respectful about the whole thing. Maybe leave a plaque down there near it or something?
That was beautiful! Well done! I remember the Titanic being rediscovered. I was beyond excited and my husband’s Christmas present to me that year was Robert Ballard’s book with Ken Marschall’s wonderful illustrations.
Carpathia did not reach 17 knots. It was more like 13 or 14. The 17-knot myth was caused by an incorrect distress position given out by Titanic. Carpathia was about 50 miles from Titanic, not 58. The drag on the ship increases quite a bit as the speed rises, even by a small amount.
