It’s 9/16/2024 and like so many others, I am watching your videos in chronological order. I watch them while eating my breakfast and it is just like you are sitting here with me in the morning and chatting with me! I love that you love Star Wars! I do, too. You are a joy to watch and listen to…makes me joyful as I start my day…kind of like a meditation! Well, I do meditate before I have my breakfast. Thank you so much for your videos!
When I go back to the beginning to follow a beautiful journey… you have truly caught my interest. I feel in a way that we were born of a very similar cloth… I will continue to enjoy! Thank you …
A woman who can spin, knit, quilt, garden, loves the Beatles, cats and Star Wars!!!! So glad to make your acquaintance!!! I'm watching your videos in order and I have a ways to go. I'm enjoying every single one!!
Kate, your house is definitely not boring. I love it. ❤. I hope your visit with your dad is wonderful. And I hope that this was a wonderful Christmas for you.
Another lovely warm chat...I always feel as if I have just popped in for coffee😊. One sure thing about life is the constant change so when all said and done one should hop on board and embrase it . Hope you have a good Christmas with your Dad and family. Take care, Alison.
HI Kate, I started to watch your channel when I did a search on quilting. I enjoyed it so much I started to watch them from the beginning. Looking at your house and all of your crafts I believe you and I are just alike. I have many crafts going at once and I ordered fabric to start my very first quilt. I only taught myself how to use my sewing machine last week when I made a mask. This is my first time writing a comment on a video I feel drawn to you. I will keep watching I love your personality. I live in Colorado, I work for a school district as a transportation educational assistant. (TEA,) Basically I ride on the special needs bus helping handicapped children get to school safely. I have a blast playing with them an talking with them. Even if they are non verbal I am still able to communicate. I pay attention to what they are trying to tell me then repeat it back to them and they give me the biggest smile when I understand what they are saying. It is a lot of fun. It is nice to have a job I like. Thank you for the videos I look forward the the next one. I actually have to force myself to stop watching so I can get house work done. Have a wonderful day. Wendy Faust
Lovely Rita! I'd love to watch in chronological order, but I guess I don't quite know how to do that. Doesn't matter I guess because I'm loving just popping in and not knowing what's coming. You always make me smile even though I come unannounced. I'd like to see more or your home just to see more things like your chandelier. I also love sparkly and shiny and bright. Brightens my outlook to live with beautiful things even if they're odd to some or plain strange to others.
You can go to the home page, select "videos", then go to the right side and select "sort by" and then select "oldest". When the page sorts itself, and the oldest appears first, go to your task bar at the top and click on the *star* which saves it to your 'favorites' as a bookmark. Then when you select it, it will appear as oldest first, no need to sort every time you visit.
I lost my elderly father the Christmas season 2017. Sounds as if we have had very similar experiences. I was so thankful to be there with him those last couple of months and grateful he could be at home for the end, surrounded by those he loved. My mother died young but their story of how they met was romantic and sweet and oft repeated when we 3 kids were little. Dad and my dear step mom had a very long and loving marriage. Dad was the super enthusiastic gardener in my family and instilled that love of the soil in me. I have very little area to garden in now but the love of it is still vast and that's yet another reason I am enjoying visiting your farm. Thank you.
Hello xxx yes - we have a similar story to tell - your parents sound wonderful. I am so grateful for the way my Mum was able to leave her journey on this planet behind with lll of us there - my dear dad is still devastated but he does so enjoy his garden so we will be spending time there soon xxx Take care xxx
Your cats are really so sweet. I always love to know why people name their pets what they do. My cats are Frank ("Frankly, I don't need this aggravation"--first thing I said when I found him as a kitten) and Dolly (she's a calico tabby so she's got a "Coat of Many Colors" like the Dolly Parton song). I'm afraid that my cats' names tend to be humorous in one way or another.
I'm watching from the future of this video, in January of 2022. I love watching in chrono order mostly, with the exception of the English paper piecing playlist. Most of my quilts are paper pieced.
Oh my, another favorite to rewatch. So many that I love. The Beatles' ref to names: I name my cars. Currently own a brown truck that I named "Honu" Hawaiian for turtle because its brown, has a shell and is very SLOW. Mahalo GG
@@thelasthomelyhouse Kate, not sure if your Dad is still alive as I might have missed some of your podcasts. If he is. Could you ask him if he knew a Mick Morton please. Who was my cousin also in the fire Dept. At what level I'm not sure though.
@@judithtaylor6916 I'll be visiting my Dad at the weekend.Sadly the dementia is far advanced now and I know he won't remember your cousin. He is 96 and enjoys his life day to day - I'm looking forward to seeing him xxx

Hi Kate, while waiting for your latest video, thought I’d go back to the beginning of LHH. Smiling at your 10 minute limit and thankful you got beyond that. 😊
Love how you name your cats! And you like Star Wars too! Love what J.J.Abrams is doing with the series. I wonder if you've watched "The Mandalorian"? Loved that!

Sherry Faught odd and strange - my favourite things! I have an idea for a house tour - but a bit of tidying up first! 😂
