Shark Cage In Tasmania Diving for Abalone - Leigh Duff

Doing what others said couldn't be done! Using a Shark Cage I purchased from Abalone Divers in Port Lincoln South Australia. I used this cage before radical quota cuts in Tasmania, and a few encounters, in an attempt to explore deeper locations safer and faster. Made some adjustments after this footage so the cage would float on surface and was retrievable for use when diving in thick weed or locations in which it wasn't required.
