I hope Anand’s message is spread widely. He addresses the very root of the problem. Buy his book!
amy t can’t afford it- tho I’m still reading it. Agreed entirely either way.
Glad that he supports channels like this.
Wow, thanks Simon!!!
Fantastic show! First time I've seen Ashley Ford. She's a great host!
Thoroughly enjoyed and was deeply impressed both with interviewer and the interviewee in discussing in depth, with empathy and knowledge, a difficult subject common to many countries and societies. Much food for thought. Keep up the discussion and the call for action, introspection that focuses not just on present social and inequities, but also the historical ones so as to prevent the future social and political injustices. Thanks to both of you.
Wow! Thanks so much for watching!!
I remember when the laws were changed to allow employers to do this thing where they could get out of offering benefits by employing only part-time workers! I had been full-time at a business and quit to give birth to my daughter. Very small business! When I stopped by after my daughter's birth, there were 5 people, all working part-time - doing MY one job!
Thank you for putting both your guest and your channel on RUclips ❤️
Would love to hear Anand's thoughts on how VC and philanthropy and a market model impacts healthcare.
VERY good interview.... Thank you!
Ashley Ford, LOVE you! Anand Giridharadas for president
There is a passage in the Bible about people donating at the church (maybe a synagog). Christ is in there and he notes a little old lady who gives a small amount, and tells his disciples that she gave more than all the rich pharisees because she will feel her donation. Whereas the others have so much that they don't even notice the money they give away.
Yeah, the widow's mite. Great example.
Thanks for the reference! Now I know.
Love this conversation!
Thanks for listening, Candace!
land of Bernie's birth so gotta be good. Anand gets it.
Ashley is an amazing host!!!
Dr. Michael Savage has been calling it trickle down Poverty for decades.
To this point we've been powerless to change it.
Love this book
Democratize the Enterprises!
so, Trump is right? Because doing good as open the country to rampant imigration can in fact be more harmful than good.
