The Pit Girl scenes from the pilot still give me chills, even though I've seen them now more times than I can count. Misty chopping off Coach's leg, Tai eating dirt, Lottie speaking French, Laura Lee's plane flight, the mushroom-trip doomcoming, the fight with the wolves, Shauna finding Jackie dead in the snow, and so many more. Counting the days till S3.
This better be the last season. I hate when trauma shows drag on. Three seasons is perfect. Also, they have to get rescued soon and show the aftermath trauma when they come back into society.

I think the Pit Girl scenes will happen towards the end of S4. They will get rescued shortly after that and S5 will be about them readjusting to life back home. Also, S5 will have any remaining adult YJ's returning to the wilderness with unfinished business.

The very first scene showing the Pit Girl is eerie. Having watched both seasons of Yellowjackets, I like how this scene has jumped quite far into the future of the team's time in the wilderness. I'm looking forward to seeing how it all plays out in Season 3 and hopefully discovering the identity of the Pit Girl ! 😲
I did think it could be Lottie at first, but yeah, we've seen she survived in the adult timeline of Season 2. The only other girl I can think of is Mari, as I've gone through each member and she's the only one who matches the physical description of the girl who falls into the pit.

they’re gonna be making 5 seasons apparently, i can imagine season 3 1996 timeline would be them up until full cult mode, then season 4 would be interswitched between people trying to locate them and them in full cult mode, and season 5 would probably be them right after the crash
If you get cpr certified you learn to do it to the best of staying alive to keep a rhythm of chest pumps. That way you are keeping the cpr sustained and not like doing it only for the progress to go away if that makes sense.
They could’ve eaten the rotten deer I seen an interview on wired with a guy who is a survivalist or something and you could of eating it and the maggots and Ik it for the show and all but they could of eaten that. On the interview with the survivalist people people have been eating rotten meat for a long time that what he said so they could have used still
I’m I the only one who wonders why the one adult in this situation kind of just sat back and didn’t bother to do jack shit? Like I get he had his leg chopped off… but he could have put his nonexistent foot down when it came to the petty BS like Jackie sleeping outside….
i think what happened is they kicked her out, wouldn't let her back in and she fell asleep before it started snowing. it snowed in the middle of the night and she froze to death in her sleep. none of them knew it was going to snow.

@@whitewolf7075There is no shelter outside the cabin she was removed from. My gripe is how did she not wake up when the temperature & high winds started? She wasnt freezing before going outside so the warming effects of dying wouldn't be near effect in that time span. It be more realistic if she got sick & died over days, but not as dramatic I guess
