Great product! Put this one on my machine. Only mod i made is i zip tied a larger rubber hose around the radiator hose where it rubs or touches the brace. Auto zone gave me some scrap hose, ID of scrap hose matched OD of radiator hose....just to make me feel comfortable that it'll never rub through and create a leak..
Install is fairly straight forward but I find that it put the top shock mount bolts in an immediate bind. I had to use a hammer to drive them in. Perhaps mine was tweaked? I tried mounting the top shock bolts first than the bottom and the brace was about 1/4" off the mount points.
This sometimes happens as the X3 frames have a huge variance from car to car sometimes .5" . So we added slots and few tweaks to make the install easier. But sometimes its challenging to get those bolts in.. We still haven't found one we couldn't install but about 1 in 10 is a challenge.. We Joke that those cars must have been built on a Friday..
Great, yet another after market part needed to keep a brand new X3 from falling apart. Not sure what is going on, but when you buy a new Ford truck or a Kia car, or Chevrolet C7 Z06 corvette, you don't NEED to replace all the tin before you use the darn thing. Seriously WTF? Can Am needs to get it right from the factory and place a price tag on it that is appropriate, rather than selling something that needs fixing before it can be used. This part in this video and the other 200 parts in 10K other videos is my point here.
@@pault8611 Kia not designed to hit whoops. It is designed to go down the highway and take the kids to school, which it does without modification. Z06 owners caught a break on price at Ron Fellows racing near Las Vegas and the cars they provide are bone stock corvettes and Z06's and they go around the race track without having to replace parts first. I also happen to have a F350 that I have changed the oil in since new and have not had to replace the rear springs before I pulled anything........I don't own a Kia.................. just saying. I may be in the minority, but I wish Can Am sold a version for 40K that had upgraded parts from the factory. I would simply go that route.
Most people that buy a new Chevy truck are afraid to turn into a parking lot in fear of a bump. People that buy sxs vehicles try to kill them everyday.

Hey guys, bought from another retailer and hardware didn't come with. Do you guys have a sheet of what comes with it? Thanks
Will this brace fit a 2021?
Will the bottom bolts on the shock brace be enough? Would u recommend welding it up as well
Bottom bolts are enough even in the wrecks we have seek they hold up great.. canam doesn’t recommend welding anything to the frames..

@@tycorhino1 got it figured out. Added some slot to the frame bolt holes and all is good 👍

You'd have to upgrade your kia too if you wanted to hit whoops at 70
