The Thrasher is a high performance RC jet boat that has been design to be the most rugged and reliable RC boat in the world. Thrasher introduces an entirely new level of versatility to its user, by dramatically increasing the options of where and how the RC boating experience can be enjoyed. Thrasher even brings RC boating off of the traditional 2D water plane and into 3 dimensions with its ability to bounce off objects in the water and leap into the air off natural and man made jumps. Simple battery based performance range - We have simplified the traditional performance upgrade path by providing a powerful bushless motor and electronic speed controller that can be run from 7.4 volts (2s) all the way up to 18.5 volts (5s) without changing anything on the stock Thrasher. Real time bilge vacuum to remove any water that finds its way in
Dynamic self righting - while in motion Thrasher is balanced to find right side up
Static self righting - if Thrasher comes to rest upside down, water will enter Thrasher's hull from the top. Once enough water has entered the hull, Thrasher will roll over allowing the pilot to navigate Thrasher back to shore to remove excess water
Waterproof and completely sealed Electronic Speed Controller (ESC)
Waterproof and completely sealed receiver (units that include controller)
Cool Running - dual path, high pressure (from the jet pump) cooling with a dedicated cooling line for the ESC and a dedicated cooling line for the brushless motor
Power management - Thrasher will drop off of plane (reduce speed dramatically) when the battery needs to be re-charged or changed.
This will occur with enough advanced warning to return your Thrasher safely to shore.

I like how your friend was courageous to go through that high pressure water canal it showed that the boat stayed afloat and is well balanced and powerful. I'm 16 years old and I live in san diego and I always watch all your rc videos I just posted another video of a power wagon crawling giant boulders. If you could watch it and let me know what you think I was inspired to do Rc rock crawling after watching you.

AWESOME!!!! I'm doing a mod on a Wal-Mart $12 boat right now,it's a few inches shorter and I was thinking of trying to shorten it...not now! I'm putting 2 jet drive motors on it and was a bit worried about shortening it but at the same time I was worried it was too long.No worries now!Have fun with your boats,those things are bad ass!!!

RC is ace, I bought a rc tarantula in a charity shop, I tried to resist it, but ended up getting it , it didn't work! But I took it apart and when you push the buttons the motors run , so I'm going to make something else out of it!(I don't know what yet) Some one gave ma a model kit of the titanic, I said I was gonna build it, but it was only about ten inches long, I didn't think the stature matched the name, so I took a hacksaw to it and made a model truck out of it, the wheels are made from bottle tops, its not a toy ,but it's a work of art, there's a boating lake in Gosport (Hampshire England) called walpole lake, they have a model yacht club there by look of things, they have great race's, i tried talking to the blokes about perhaps joining, but i think they thought I was taking the piss , Racing radio controlled boats,cars , planes - anything is great fun , i was born in 1971,by the time i could go to town with my frenemys , the wild willy jeep and sand scorcher were the big thing, i couldn't afford anything like that, but there was a cool model shop called Beaties , they had a vhs video player, with official videos of the wildwilly jeep etcetera in action, it wouldn't surprise me if that video is available on youtube! (lots of mud and wheelies) anything radio controlled was primitive and expensive, now you buy a remote controlled helicopter for £15 brand new in Argos! Love your channel, rc keeps us young!

i love boats just the way it moves in water.
They look a bit like a toy, I think he should put more realism into the boat.
it has to be built like a submarine.... For instance, I'm converting a fishing boat into a jet drive style boat, if water gets in it like this, my battery bay will fill with water, and since I do have a drain hole there, my bilge pump will be working overtime!

I got a great boat with everything included for £65 which is about £ 63.51 ( $90). I got it from HobbyKing and it's called Racing Boat Flipped FT012. It's got a brushless water cooled motor and runs on 3s which gives it a top speed of about 30mph and it self rights. And, like I said, it comes with everything you need in the box. The only thing you have to buy is 6AA batteries for the controller. You get boat, radio gear, 1 3s lipo battery, a lipo battery charger, a stand to place the boat on, spare propellers. It's a bargain. If that's still out of your price range then I also have a brushed motor one for my son. It's called the UDI Power Tempo Boat and again that comes with everything you need in the box. But it can only run on 2s so has a top speed of about 20mph but it still self rights. and that boat is only £45 ($65). If you want to see them in action there's a video of them on my channel. It's the most recent one, titled "silly cow has a go at me and my son". lol

I can't splash out on the fancy shit you can probably afford Some guy spoke about not being able to buy some stuff. I replied to show him there is a way to enjoy RC on a budget. And next time you start running your mouth saying I have "budget builds" Take a look at some of my cars. Most of them have custom built carbon chassis and go 4 times faster than your mom drives you to school.....

I always wondered how that would work on a rc boat. My 1/3 scale r/c hydroplane 300cc Kawasaki jet ski motor and jet drive has the same concept. On my boat it creates a vacuum to the water from the water intake. Cool video !!

That was amazing.THRASHER JET BOATS! are a beast. its like a quality rc boat on steroids I have a aquacraft cajaun commando air boat and my boat has no comparsion to what that thrasher can take. those are the best videos when you and friend get on the water, but this time was epic. those jet boats are the future in the greateabout st jumping,diving, rolling .and all out bashing fun.I will always be following you on your videos. they are informative and humurious. little mo is very blessed to have parents like you and jen. i wanted to ask about another project. its of the summit with the lem driveshafts and a few other details i would really appreaciate the info . just a quick note. everything that is on the summit with the dual 820,s i have except i need some advice about a few things that would be very well appreciated thanks for all the entertainment. im in the house alot due to my disability, but i try not to let that stop me. i used to be a truck driver, so no matter what i got to just keep trucking on and never give up.
