I get that glitch a lot too (sims having a task stuck in their queue and not being able to move on.) I learned that if you go to manage worlds, then re-enter the household it usually goes away
Is it against the rules to use gate to prevent sims accessing the cowplant? Why isn’t she using that? Annoys me so much when there’s such a simple solution....
@@MrMaijaah I actually feel like it makes a loto f sense for the cowplant to be accessible by everyone. If it represents the war it would have to be a danger for the whole household. Male sims are directly affected by it in a more mandatory way, but technically everyone else it's at risk in such a situation. So for as much stress as it is I feel like it adds some realism ;)
I've been playing this, and I had a full grown cowplant before 1910, before the war. The mom ended up dying from the cowplant, and I kept it with the storyline. I like the extra challenge, because it's more accurate for them to die from unexpected causes back then. It's been a lot of fun!
Obviously it's too late to affect anything, I would wall off the cowplant and put a locked gate on it. When you need to go in, you could unlock the gate, but otherwise, keep the gate locked to everyone.
Watching this is encouraging me to be more exploitative with the way i play the sims! I'm planning on doing a homeless sims challenge now! Not even rags to riches lol.
A homeless challenge would be hard but fun I think! I love just starting from nothing and making my sims work for things. I am planning on future generations starting all over just to keep things fresh! I love to make my sims struggle, it keeps things interesting lol Thanks for watching! 🥰
I've been binging this, I had no clue about this challenge or your channel and now I am so addicted. Your play style is so great and this challenge is so fun to watch! Right up my alley!
Wait I thought kids and teens could work because there were no child labor laws? Anyway I really love your series and subscribed once I came across your decades challenge!
You're right! Child labor laws didn't begin until the late 30's, but after the 1900's there were less children and teens working. The 1900 census showed that only about 18-21% of kids were made to work at that time. This may have been why the rules said that they aren't allowed to work, I'm not sure. Either way it's not good cause so many kids died due to horrible work environments and sickness. Thank you for subscribing! I appreciate it and I'm so happy you are enjoying this series! 🥰
Something I noticed during my own decades challenge is that keeping the cowplant inside made me more likely to notice when it was hungry and keep Sims from being wrongfully eaten
Mary ran away to serve as a nurse 👩⚕️a brave babe
Ik!
i love seeing the siblings sleep together. it fits the time period real well. apparently in that time period they all shared beds for warmth.
You have to feed the cow plant, that’s why the cake comes out because it’s hungry. The only to die from it is by taking the cake
Lol this is my new Netflix!
I get that glitch a lot too (sims having a task stuck in their queue and not being able to move on.) I learned that if you go to manage worlds, then re-enter the household it usually goes away
Thanks for the tip! It doesn't seem to happen as much so something must have gotten fixed in an update lol. Thanks for watching! 🥰
The amount of stress I get anytime one of them tries to play with the cowplant 🤯
Omg it's so stressful!! lol And we have to do it again when we get to the 1930's!!!

It's been a lot of fun!
the needs always being down gives me so much anxiety lol
It’s hard okay
this is one of the only sims series i can actually follow and enjoy, you’re doing a great job

Totally binging this right now 😅
I'm binging this series and loving every second of it!!! Had to tell you that your voice sounds so much like Lisa Kudrow sometimes lol!
Thanks! I'm so glad you are enjoying them!
I get some Jennifer Coolidge vibes sometimes! 😂 But I love this series as well!
THATS WHAT I THOUGHT
I’m so invested in this series 😭
I'm so glad you are enjoying this series! Thanks for watching! 🥰

Smart to put the decade change in the calendar! I will certainly steal that idea :)
Love what Mary did! Some women did that back then but were not even given a mention in the history books
If you have enough plants you can make over 10,000 simoleons ; after two weeks sim time the harvest was about 40,000 simoleons

Wall the cow plant off!!
Well now there's no point 🤷🏾♀️
I think you weren’t feeding it, that’s why it died. •_•

I love this series! I prefer it over netflix at this point haha! Love it :)
You made a sim for Mary and William to Get with yet Emma will become a adult befor William
I luv this series
this series is actually my vibe
It’s great how you can handle this. For me it’s the rules so mess i would make it i think 🤭😅😅
I know that I am way too late, but you can milk the cow plant to get their joy back
Your voice sounds so much like Phoebe from Friends it’s honestly scary oh my god
Btw at rules are says you need to do it all the decade. 😳😇 but I’m having a fun there
Interaction check! xD
With this challenge, are the only ways Sims can die by war (cowplant) or old age?
No. Not like us humans are fireproof
Who has a wedding on Thursday? My cousins wedding date is on a Thursday xD
fire place off
Does Mary even know the guy she's supposed to marry?
that needs to e done outside or it will start a fire in the house
