Rammstein - Live Aus Berlin (Bootleg)

- The legendary Live Aus Berlin concert, as seen through the eyes of a fan. There isn't much to see as this person didn't do a very good job at filming, and people block the camera, but at least the audio is decent.
There are also many differences between this and the official DVD. Here are a couple of examples:
In the final line of Klavier where he says "hielt sie den Atem an" Till chokes the word "an". He doesn't do that in this version.
During Du Hast, after he says "Du hast mich" for the second time Till sobs. In the DVD version, he sobs three times, however in this version he does a sort of choking sob. Also, when he laughs at 0:53:42, he does a slow loud laugh, but in the DVD version he does a quick chuckle.
And overall the whole performance just sounds different.
This goes to show that there was quite a bit of editing when they made the DVD, and made lots of changes.

The intro of Heirate Mich is just totally different !
You mentioned differences. As i recall, there were two recordings of the show on seperate nights and they pieced footage from both together. I wish this could be re-mastered in 1080p and "uncensored".
zfoxfire You are correct! The DVD was a combination of the shows on the 22nd and 23rd. Considering this bootleg is strictly from the 22nd, I believe most of the footage and audio on the DVD is in favor of the show on the 23rd. Also, there was A LOT of editing and mixing of the audio to make it into what we hear today.
Maybe we could see a remaster in the future, but who knows?
Bestrafe Mich sounds identical to the DVD it's definitely from this concert.

Yes there was some editing, but don't forget, when they play that arena they usually play 3 ou 4 dates in a row. Maybe this recording is from a different date than the DVD.
Claro que es único. ¿Se imaginan si muchos hubieran hecho lo que ahora hacen? Todos traerían una enorme cámara de VHS al hombro. 😄 y ya no parecería un concierto si no la prensa.
Maybe the differences are there because Live aus Berlin was recorded in two concerts. Rammstein was in concert on August 22 and 23, 1998 in Berlin.
That's not the only reason, there sure was a lot of editing.

@tyger448 not to discount the fact that there was a ton of editing in the dvd, live aus berlin was an amalgamation of two separate shows at Wuehlheide over two nights, so there could be parts from this night that are not on the dvd. This is also why the version of the song Rammstein is different than the one included on the CD.

А насчёт того что dvd был из 2-х частей то правда, так как можно мельком увидеть к в одной и тойже песне Тилль то в куртке то без неё.

@defthe1s This is the entire show. The recordings is cut though so we don't get to see the last song.
@MichiLiebe I know exactly what you mean. I was only 1 when this concert was performed. This is an amazing concert and seeing a fans perspective (somewhat) it just makes it that much better. There is a bootleg version of Völkerball, but it sounds exactly the DVD. But as for this, there's many differences. If this is really the Live Aus Berlin concert I'm not sure, but it sure looks like it and the setlist is the same. It sounds great and is one of my favorite bootlegs.
That Volkerball bootleg has its minor differences, for example the gltich or whatever on some keyboard between Los and DRSG. But Yes, The offical DVD its pretty much the concert as it was played live
@@eduardovenegas1335 The Nîmes concert from the Völkerball DVD uses shots that were taken at a Birmingham concert.

@aschen Yeah, that was what I thought too. I think this bootleg is of the 22nd, and the CD is of the 23rd. Songs like Herzeleid, Bestrafe Mich, Weisses Fleisch, Sehnsucht, Du Hast, Bück Dich, Engel, Rammstein, and Tier, sound different on this version, than the actual CD
@KaptainDOTKOM I agree that Live Aus Berlin was (in my opinion) their best concert. But don't call the Madison Square Garden show over hyped. I was there and I'll tell you that I have NEVER seen a Rammstein concert with that much energy and power. No one sat down the entire time, everyone sang along, and there wasn't a single moment when the fans weren't cheering like crazy.

@KaptainDOTKOM I totally agree with you. these older shows had so much power, and they were full of underrated songs. Their older years were the best.
as for where I got this. I use two Russian websites. They are Rammstein heaven. You can download all the bootlegs and photos out there and much much more...
