My theory on why the Archons are named after demons of Hell: As many believed, Teyvat is upside down. Meaning that Teyvat is 'hell'. Now the names of the demons used are of dukes, generals, or essentially regional leaders of hell, serving a single being who has control over the entirety of hell. In the context of Genshin Impact, Celestia is the being who control all of Teyvat. Celestia made the Archons as their servants; tasked with keeping an eye on humans. However, one Archon supposedly has the name of a saint; the Tsaritsa, the Cryo Archon. I believe, as mentioned in the Genshin wiki, she may or may not be planning a rebellion against Celestia. If this is true, then it explain why she has a saint name--the only Archon who is directly disobeying and even fighting/rebelling against Celestia. So in conclusion: The Archons are named after dukes and regional leaders of Hell because they are the servants and regional leaders of Celestia--whom control all of Teyvat, believed to be hell itself due to Teyvat being upside down as many have said. The Tsaritsa is the only Archon who is not serving Celestia, and is trying to fight against Celestia, thus is named after a saint. A sort of foreshadow to the role she would play in this rebellion.
