Monster Hunter wilds beta! testing out PC specs. i5 12400f & Rtx 4070 super.

Taking the new graphics card for a spin in the upcoming Monster Hunter game to be released in February 2025! Definitely cpu heavy so far, but this is the beta.

Hey what setting do you use? Perhaps any bottle neck with the cpu. I want to upgrade my pc from rtx20series

@Flurarn I was on ultra settings at 1080p. Now I know the actual release will be far better optimized in the future. But the 4070 super is the best budget gpu in my opinion. You can play any AAA game at epic/ultra comfortably. And even play at 1440p no problem. I love Ray tracing so that's why I went Nvidia. The 4070 super is as powerful as a 3090, and even a 4090 laptop version. It's the lowest high end gpu you can go. I do plan to upgrade to a i7 13700 next for cpu in the future, and 32gb ddr5 ram instead of 16gb ddr5 I have currently. But 12gb gpu is the most and minimum you'll ever need for gaming. 8gb just doesn't cut it anymore.
