I don’t know if you just happened to choose the wrong shade, but I don’t think yellow-toned foundations go with your skin tone. You definitely lean cool-toned. Thanks for the review, though! Very helpful!
I have similar coloring to Cassie’s, and agreed - definitely cool-toned. I have to go for foundations with neutral or pink undertones, which can sometimes be hard to find.
Not sure i agree. I have a lot of redness in my face, a bit like cassie. But that redness is not my skintone. My entire body is neutral. I think cassie is the same.
Can you please do a ranking of the foundations you’ve tried this year? Like 3-4 times a year It wold be nice to see how you compare them to each other after each weekly reviews and monthly pyramid.
I don't personally think you have golden undertones, looks more neutral to pink to me. I'm fair with pink undertone, so that golden one would've looked hysterical on me, lol. This one and the powder foundation are sooo frigging hyped up by other influencers that I *really* wanted to try them, thankfully I watched your weekly wear tests first, you saved me a good chunk of change! I'm starting to wonder if they're being paid for good reviews or something, there are _very very few_ that I trust anymore unfortunately.
Same same; i tried the nyx bare with me serum concealer and it creases on me so badly unfortunately. I trust her reviews more than anyone else on youtube. I have my own lil channel and wanted to review this foundation but dont have the moolah lol
First video of yours I’ve seen and I LOVE how you give a super close up of how the foundation wears on your skin. Such a vulnerable shot so I understand why most people don’t do it, but it is so helpful for viewers, I appreciate that so much! Great in depth review and series of tests 🖤
Yes! Patrick Starr even said the best way to apply this is with your fingers. And then apparently he even taps on his face when he’s done applying…lol..so I tried it too and it looks great!
I was super excited about this one. I went and got a shade match because I couldn’t figure them out online, and I’m in a fair shade which I normally am always light. I got a sample, and completely planned on buying it soon. I’ve used the sample a couple of times, and I agree, I don’t really know how I feel about it. It doesn’t look bad on me. It wears pretty well on my combo skin. There’s something about it that I just don’t love, and I can’t put my finger on it. It looks more makeup/foundation like on my skin than I expected maybe. I don’t know, I’ve taken it in and out of my Sephora cart multiple times. I think I’ve landed on I don’t like it we’ll enough for the price point. Seeing your review helped validate my thoughts. I love your foundation reviews ☺️
I bought this so quickly. I was so disappointed. It broke down so badly around my pores and chin. I was so sad because I love the feel and the initial look!!
Have you tried using a mattifying primer in some areas while also using a hydrating primer in other areas? I wonder if using a hydrating around your mouth and a mattifying on your forehead and nose might even the finish after the day!
I second this! I have oily dehydrated acne prone skin (the struggle is real 😂) and wear sunscreen and multiple different primers and it absolutely makes a difference. I have a lot of dehydration around my nose/btwn the brows/mouth and get oily everywhere. It might seem extra but makes the world of a difference for all my difference skin concerns
Maybe try exchanging it for a neutral undertone as golden tones usually have a warm or even orange dry down shade. Really helpful thanks Cass! I am sticking to my favorite WnW tinted hydrator and Tarte Cloud Foundation 😊

I am looking forward to the rare beauty foundation. I love a foundation that I can’t feel and has a natural/ satin finish. I don’t mind a slightly dewy foundation. This one is definitely not for me.
Good evening, Cassie! I think the foundation looks really good on you when it sits on your skin for awhile. You're review is very informative, thank you!! 😊

Woohoo! Excited to see this one 😊 I think you might actually really like the new Kosas and Tarte Cloud Foundation. I have oily dehydrated acne prone skin and those 2 are the bomb. I reviewed both of them and did a battle and actually preferred the Tarte side slightly more but was expecting Kosas to be super dewy and it definitely was not

Thanks for the review Cassie 🙂 I have fair skin, so ill stick with my Tarte Shape Tape foundation in 16N Fair/Light neutral. Its not yellowy/orange. Its just perfect 👍
Thank you Cassie ☺️ I will not be trying this foundation but am glad that you try these foundation so we don't have to buy these products that do not work! It gets expensive for sure. ❤️❤️❤️
Okay. Can someone please explain the difference between a BB vs a CC cream? I have a MAC BB cream that was my mom's. While I've always been a powder foundation wearer I gave it a shot without knowing the difference because it did belong to my mom. Once W&W came out with their tinted hydrator I stopped using the BB cream. Now my routine is a little bit of the tinted hydrator and a strategically placed usage of my powder foundation. Been working great for me. But every time someone brings up a BB or CC cream I'm always wondering what the difference is, lol...
Not gonna lie, i think that most of the time i watch foundation reviews people use way too much product. I use a pea to a nickel sized amount on the back of my hand (depending on the product) and it covers my whole face using a beauty blender. I have obscenely oily skin and i dont get all this cracking and uneven wear. Skin prep and skin care is so important
@Thrift Thick Cassie, I think day 3 looked the best with whatever you used. I think your undertone in this balm isn't right, maybe why it's yellow when oxidizing?! I'd return it and exchange for a neutral or cool undertone. Jmho. Loved your video, thank you. xo Stephanie in Kentucky 🥰😘😍

I keep trying this and it just doesn’t sit, or more likely just sits on my face if i use anything underneath it. Any sunscreen, any moisturiser….It has this silicone feeling which never gets well with my oily skin..wish i watched your video earlier ❤️ you are awesome
I’m so curious on how this will wear on you! I returned mine after trying it. I found it too much coverage by a notch especially that this was supposed to be natural, and also not smoothing on my pores, and I have small pores and some small acne scars and no active break out and this made my skin look older. Also the shades are darker for the light skin. I ordered light 3 and it was dark. So I suggest anyone to order lighter in the light spectrum if you’re split on the shades. The shade range SUCKS. There's nothing close to my skin color. There's not much for porcelain & maybe 1 shade for fair. There are a couple light & couple medium shades. I tried his powder supposedly for rosy skin. I came out looking like Oompa Loompa 🍊 orange. This brand isn't for my skintone.
Great reviews as always ❤️
OOOOO yes! thank you for the review - i dont think i will get it - that click top is annoying and its too pricy "just to try"
Glad I didn’t buy this. we have basically the same skin just different skin tones lol
