This creature never gets overpressured by HE, the only times ive overpressured it is hitting the cannon with a APHE shell, the game recognizes cannons as armor that is thick enough to cause overpressure which is nice
Just wait until I get a hold of it, even shots with no explosive filler that completely miss will trigger overpressure
i have over-preassured many BMPs whit he and heat, sounds like a skill issue to me.

I used AVRE and FV4005 and both managed to overpressure on the side armour despite being so thin

It's literally impossible to die by 7.62 in that thing, stop making things up to make the BMP-2M seem hard to play, you can get killed by 12.7 though

Plates don't turn orange anymore they only did that with hull break, and hull break is gone in favor of overpressure.

@@Optimusprime56241 it is, i have been playing Heli EC and some of the tanks there have Hull break, plus apparently, also some light tanks in AirRB has it, it is gone from ground rb but its not gone from the game... Also apparently ships have hullbreak too but thats a can of worms i havent gotten into

@@rougerosso5478 it doesn't exist for ground rb anymore, which makes me think that something else is changed on the bmp2m as well.
You can get it in plane test drive while shooting at light vehicle it says "hull brake" if you shoot it

Terminator would have 5 crew members, armor of MBT, anti tank rockets, 2 autocannons and somewhat of mobility. It would be broken as hell without any chances to be fixed.
@@user-vu9ug4vb3u depends if they are real-life accurate with it. You know, with one of the autocannons only able to fire he and other ap because of concessions to the space of the turret which is why while both guns have dual-feed system, neither can connect both selectively and require mechanic to swap the feed, neither of the cannons is capable of firing APFDS due to muzzle blowing off when the fins detach, the crew are like sardines inside the tank which constitutes to fatique very quickly, and situational awareness is very poor thanks to the T-72 optics complimented with fairly low-resolution imaging system in tanks that haven't managed to buy theirs from france before sanctions,
Terminator is essentially just a T-72 hull with slap-on autocannon turret and rocket rack designed for cityfighting in grozny-style battle where civilians are throwing grenades and molotovs from soviet apartment blocks down on the tanks, as T-72's had trouble lifting their turret to fire on the buildings from relatively short range and proper infantry support was nowhere to be found. In the end however they just ground the whole city to dust with artillery, much like in Ukraine.

The torpedo most likely didnt hit the bmp directly, it hit the sand just in front. This is not an excuse for no explosion, but a direct hit might be different.

Protip: Try to aim for the ground below the tank hoping it recochets off the ground and hits the belly of the tank doing immense damage.
OR aim between the chassis and the turret, there is a small unarmored gap there

You basically set up a key bind to turn on either turret. Also works with mgs
Ctrl + M1 is called a ranging shot, used to measure the range of a target. But it can also be used to fire individual turrets.
It seems the new patch has somewhat reduced post pen effects of solid shot rounds (every single one of them from apds to apfsds) ... or is it just me?

Meanwhile IRL the BMP 1&2 are extremely vulnerable to .50cal fire, so much so that many soldiers rather ride on top of the BMP so they can jump off and run away if they start taking fire. (Basically irl "no armor is best armor")

Bmp 1 and 2 are only vulnerable from 12.7 mm close range (sides) as well as artillery spilnters. The M113 has more of a problem.
From the front it should Take even a 14 mm if fired from far away.

Not the only vehicle you can do this kind of thing with almost all tanks, trucks and even planes can survive things that make zero sense, take the m24 for example I have see it bounce things that logically should kill even a modern MBT or it passed right through and did nothing same happens to the AA and TD trucks so many nations have or how planes can sometimes soak up multiple shots from large cannons and still fly. Nothing like hitting a light tank or truck with a round that can go through next to anything and has great post pen damage and the round goes to the shadow realm the moment it touches the armor doesn't bounce doesn't over pen just disappears into oblivion.

Funny thing. The regular BMP-2 will die to just .50 calls but the BMP-2M can somehow not get overpressure from a 183mm HESH shell
This hurts my brain so much, meeting those gremlins before they notice you are easy to handle

Remember how ppl used to complain about hullbreak mechanics? This is what they wanted. It was said a hundred times that removing hullbreak will lead to this.

Came across this issue with other tanks before, but biggest problem I would always come up against when fighting Russia is when I hit there ammo, it turns red signalling that I hit it and destroyed it, yet theres no ammo detonation or anything, so basically I just reduced their ammo by one shell and that's all, this has even happened to me when I would run out of SL and play as Russia to earn some quick easy money, but this is just a minor issue when compared to all the other reasons I stopped playing this garbage pay to progress game
I just played a few games where I hit and it registered that I ammo racked a Russian MBT and not only did he not die he shot and killed me in return. Don't get me wrong, I don't care if I die especially if it's my own stupidity or lack of awareness that caused it. Gaijining (while given the complexity of the system they're using I also for the most part forgive this) is complete utter bs

the 183mm shockwave would alone knock out the crew, not even taking into account the hull turning into a wreck, the whole point is how dumb a lot of the damage modeling ingame is
The BMP2 should have suffered from over pressure on quite a few of these shots. Hell the torp should have vaporized the fucken thing.

Why the fuck should I have to aim for weak points on a fucken IFV? Quite a few of these rounds should have caused over pressure but of course Russian bias shows again that apparently BMP2 won’t over pressure.

It's not just the BMP. All lightly armored vehicles are completely broken in WT. Last night I shot an Strv-103 three times with 183mm HESH and it did nothing.
