Ok now in 2020 and a 51 year old man self confessed Metalhead and lover of Punk and Skin music and more than ashamed to admit I missed the boat when it comes to The Damned. I guess my early induction kinda steered me off course. With Captain Sensible links with Happy talk, Top of the Pops & Young Ones with Eloise and Nasty made sure I was content to leave them alone. Damned aficionados will reel in horror at the songs I mentioned but I was a kid. Now upon reflection I could literally kick myself as this along with Smash it Up is not left my tiny mind since I got my ears on it. I am now catching up on sadly lost time, they blow me away.

The Dammed are one of my favorite Punkbands. Unfortunately I never saw them live. In this version you can hear that Dave is also a big fan of Elvis.

The Damned were energetic and brilliant on Vinyl and CD, DVD and should be amazing on 7D holographic if it's ever brought out before the end of the world. Look bring out Holographic technology, do it now. What you waiting for? Christmas? Hahaha.

great band live but man did they attract some headcases; one gig I went to 13 Nov 1981 had skinheads without tickets lurking outside with blades, which they used on unsuspecting victims. The cops just could not keep control. Great gig though

Why can't the singer slick his back and wear white face paint, instead of looking like a boring old teddy boy? Great song, though New Rose and Neat Neat Neat are better and I have a soft spot for Melody Lee.
