When he said micro scan is holding 40%, everyone understood he was not there for investment he was just promoting his product and hence the creative pitch. Microscan is the one primarily trying to take on big players.

Wonderful editing,,,,piyush reason to step back at last moment was complete joke ,,,,he has done multiple deals in which he holds 2 % kind of stake and lot of other people owns more stake ,,,so it was pure rubbishness
Reality is the other company was a family business and the owner of that company had put his son here, it makes the whole business really complicated because the number of stakeholders and drama increases.
New Age startups generally like to avoid this kind of conflict with traditional family owned businesses because their mindset and work culture differ dramatically.
Isliye woh crorepati hain aur tum roadpati... His stake 2% is in companies that are running well, so he wouldn't have to do much work... The revenue of the company is very low, so to have a good say in the company he would need more equity.

Dude you didn’t understand anything in this case sadly. Piyush clearly mentioned that he wants to come in as a strategic Investor. Hence he wants control over the decision making process. Plus he is an outsider to their business and he can never know for sure if that other guy was chosen as the pr and marketing head fairly or was that position gifted to him due to his father's investment. These factors would have largely hampered the fact that piyush wanted a good degree of control in this particular business. That's the reason he immediately backed out. It has nothing to do with piyush having 2% stake in other businesses. Please try to think a little bit more deeply before making random comments in public
